Vehicle Detail
1968 Corvette Roadster in very nice condition. Has an alarm with keyless entry, power door locks, power windows, power steering and power antenna. Mileage stated is based on the odometer reading but I do not have any documentation to confirm it. This is originally a southern car. The frame, birdcage and all other metal is dry and completely rust free. Absolutely no pitting anywhere. The body and interior are also very nice as you can see from the pictures. There are some minor flaws like a chip in the door edge and a crack near the front bumper mount but overall it is very clean. L88 427 4-speed recreation that is built at or above L88 specs. It idles and drives very well with surprisingly strong low end and mid-range power. The engine consists of a Mark IV Chevrolet 4-bolt block with ARP main studs, 3969804 L88 rods with 7/16 boron steel rod bolts and floating pins, L88 forged open chamber pistons, solid lifter camshaft with .626/.643 lift, Pro Topline 320cc aluminum heads 375 cfm flow, ss roller rocker arms, HV2016 Brodix dual plane intake, 31555 Milodon 8 quart Road Race Oil Pan. Compression is set at 11:1 and cranking pressure is 180psi. The engine was designed to run on pump gas and does so flawlessly. The suspension was completely rebuilt with all new polyurethane bushings. F41 Gymkhana springs were added along with larger front and rear sway bars. On Jul-16-14 at 13:51:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I've had a number of questions asking if this is an original L88 car and no it is not. A real L88 convertible would be a 7 figure car. The engine is not numbers matching either.
