1971 Porsche 911 Targa Restoration Project Silver/Black Vinyl VIN 9111112459 (ebay does not recognize the short VIN prior to 1980) Mileage is marked Exempt on the title. The odometer shows 35,856 Engine; # 6108515 which is a 911T The engine is apart and incomplete. (see photos) Missing Items; cylinder heads, Intakes & fuel system, Exhaust,& Flywheel. There are probably other parts missing. The engine arrived in boxes and we do not have a history or service records. The oil tank is installed in the car. Transaxle; Trans is a 901 type. The case is stamped 902/1 and 225 202, cast number 901301101 Chassis/Body; The car will need serious rust repair. (see photos) We have taken photos of the car up on a lift so you can see the floors and bottom side of the car. The floors will need to be replaced, both door bottoms, the front trunk floor in front of the gas tank,both battery boxes, passenger side fender, and both quarter panels have rust through. The Targa top will need to be rebuilt and recovered. Interior; The interior is black vinyl. The front and rear seats will need to be recovered. The dash has the usual cracks. All gauges are with the car. The radio is a Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW Plan to pick up the car at Anspach Auto, 51 Main Street, Ono PA. We are 15 miles North East of Hershey. Truck transport to the port at NY will cost $350. We can assist with shipping.
