Bought new, we used this truck as a water tanker until recently. If you have a replacement motor and need a good cab/chassis this should work for you. The 3116 CAT is sleeveless and therefore a rebuild would be expensive. Other than a little surface rust where the tank was mounted the truck is rust-free. The A/C works very well. It has air brakes, not hydraulic. The cab is mounted to the frame but the seats are air-ride. The clutch and transmission work well and need no work. It does not have a two-speed rear end. We removed the water tank and installed it on another truck. Please note that the water tank we are listing will not fit this truck without significant modifications.
