Vehicle Detail
This is a good example of an Unmolested, mostly ORIGINAL, NON-smoker, Solid, California, Rust Free 1975 Camaro Type LT. I don't know that much about cars, my husband was the one who always took care of this Camaro, but unfortunately he's no longer around, so I'll try my best to answer any questions. I was lucky enough to have my cousin help me with the photos and videos, so I wouldn't end up listing the car on Craigslist and deal with tire kickers... I believe I'm the 2nd owner. My husband bought this '75 Camaro for me in 2004. As soon as we got the car, my husband started restoration which went on and off for the next 6 years... So practically I didn't start driving this car til 2011. Since then I drove it maybe 2-3 times a week, approx. 3000 miles. Never abused (grown adult driver). I hate to let this car go after 10+ years. There's a sentimental value that is not making things any easier, but I can't afford to keep it around much longer along with my daily driver. (Insurance/Gas/Storage,Etc.) My Ins. Broker tried to advise me to keep this Camaro due to the recent jump in value, but I still have to let go. My loss, your gain. (see attached Hagerty Report) I was told that this Camaro would fall into the "Condition #2" Value. http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vc=1188421 Now I will mention the few things that I know about the car: The previous owner had the original 350 4bbl Motor and Trans. Rebuilt in 2003.During our restoration we got the body/paint done where the Eng. was removed, the Interior, and Glass. I remember seeing the body stripped to bare metal. They had the entire Interior redone, leather wrapped the Dash. New Suspension was also done. New Headers/Full Exhaust. Most recent work (2013/14) Alarm, All New Ball Joints, Tie Rods and Alingment. All New Bumper Moldings, New Headlights/Front Blinkers, New Wipers, Oil change (this month--always used Castrol GTX 20-50).New Front Brakes (Ceramic Pads) done last month (excellent upgrade). The car looks amazing in the sun light or at night (See all Photos), and it sounds like a real American muscle car.(See Video)You can hear it from a distance. Real head turner everywhere I go. Never drove it in rain. Always washed/waxed and kept it covered. Some of the flaws:It seems that when they put back the cluster after wrapping the dash, they forgot to connect the Volts Gage, the Clock, and reinstall the A/C. The Shifter/Gears Indicator between the Speedo and RPM got stuck in "P". Also the "Brake Light" stays on at all times. Just had the Brake Switch replaced and still no change. This is 1 of the reasons I can't keep this car anymore, sick and tired of trying different mechanics that BS me, take my money, and not get things done right... * The Rear/Trunk "Camaro" Emblem that is missing in the photos will be included along with other extra Emblems. IF YOU'RE LOCAL, PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR A "TEST DRIVE". I DON'T HAVE THE TIME FOR THAT. I HAVE POSTED VIDEOS TO OFFER EVERYONE A "TEST DRIVE" AND SHOW WHAT THIS CAR IS ALL ABOUT, WHETHER YOU'RE DOWN THE STREET OR 3000 MILES AWAY. ITS ONLY FAIR...Serious Buyers ONLY! Please note that you are bidding/buying a used car and it has been subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. I descibed the vehicle as accuratelly as possible, however, there's no possible way to include every detail and imperfection.CLEAN TITLE in hand. This Vehicle is Sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IS" Shipping and Transportation are the winner’s expenses. Secured Bank Wire and/or Transfer shall be exercised for the $1,000 none refundable Deposit within 24 HOURS as well as the FULL Balance within 3 days of AUCTION End Date. I HAD TO CANCEL SOMEONE'S BID EARLIER DUE TO A TYPO. THEY BID $75,000 INSTEAD OF $7,500. ****ALSO, PLEASE DO NOT BID UP MY AUCTION IF YOU'RE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THIS CAR. I'M WATCHING ALL BIDDERS, AND I WILL CANCEL ANY BOGUS BIDDERS RIGHT AWAY AND REPORT THEM TO EBAY, AS I DID ON DAY 1 TO A BRAND NEW EBAY USER WHO TRIED TO ENTERTAIN HIMSELF BY THROWING IN A $21K BID.
