Vehicle Detail

1973 Plymouth Road Runner, 440 4bbl, slapstick automatic. Very nice driver with many upgrades and repair records. Runs and drives excellent, the motor starts easy, idles right, and runs out strong, without missing a beat...New brakes all the way around, and near new BFG rubber too. Has had around $2500 worth of just mechanical repairs with receipts in the last 2 years including new starter, gas tank, rear coilover shocks, and brakes. Very roadworthy machine, drives down the road nice. Has also had the torsion bars heated and properly adjusted, new torque converter, u joints, and motor mounts just to name a few...previous owner just took it to the shop every time it needed any little thing (neutral safety switch and gas gauge repair too) needed attention. 440 is a 71', rebuilt, runs very nice. Wheel bearings repacked, seals and brake cyls and front rotors replaced. Body looks very nice, paint is super shiny and sharp, does have a small ship or scratch here or there like any driver quality car, and I would assume it may have some filler in it...nothing showing but I'd bet it had some, they all do whether people admit it or not..Interier is very nice as well, all black, excellent seats and door panels, headliner too, carpet very good yet, dash looks nice, but has one warped area in the center, could be glued back down to look good though. All glass is good, no cloudiness or separation, chrome bumpers nice as well. Underside and trunk in good shape, no rust issues, looks good, spare tire and jack in the trunk. Everything works well, brakes, lights, signals, wipers, etc, but for some reason the radio and heater fan do not...have not even looked at it, humid and hot, don't need a heater, AM radio...don't listen to that much either...besides, as sweet as the dual exhaust out of that big block sounds, who needs the distraction??? Really nice throaty growl..not drag race loud, but has good bark when provoked....Before anyone has to ask, the motor is not original, it is a 1971 440, this true RM code car came with a 318 or 340 from the factory...glad someone had the good sense to give it the real Mopar powerplant it deserved... Cruises at 70 pretty easy, must be geared in the higher 3's or so, not sure but I doubt its as low as a 411. No leaks, smoke, or odd noises, ready to cruise. Not a show car by any means, but a super sharp driver that turns heads and burns tires...Clear WI title. Take a look, ask me any questions, THANKS------Winning bidder has the option of buying a OEM quality Go-Wing for the trunk, $200. if they want it, otherwise I will use it for another project...it has never been installed---
