This car was originally from California but went to Kansas for a few years and was kept in a heated garage before I brought it back to California. Always garaged and the paint still has a mirror finish. It even smells like a new car from the 80's. It is UNBELIEVABLY clean!! I wish I was able to post how new this car smells on ebay!! I originally purchased this car for a fun project where I planned on putting in either a newer turbo rotary engine or a small block Chevy but settled on a newer Miata for my project so this is now for sale. It starts up and runs without any issues every time. Runs amazingly well and is mechanically sound. The car has an aftermarket exhaust. This just might be the best condition original RX-7 in the world!!! Interior is SPOTLESS with some custom additions done tastefully. Original seats under the seat covers are in great shape. All gauges are working and there are also a few added gauges that function. The previous owner went the extra mile in babying this car. I can not adequately state how clean this car is. The previous owner was an aerospace engineer and added a few tasteful extras to the car including: a different rear hatch, a working hood scoop that delivers fresh air to the carburetor, working fog lights, rectangular headlights, a very nice looking audio system and a radar scanner. The car has a decent stereo setup but it does not turn on and I have not looked into it but it should be an easy fix.
