This is a PRIVATE SALE -- no sales tax! Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, Red Dawn, built in conjunction with Doetsch Off-Road, is a gently used 2013 Rubicon with about 6400 miles (still under factory warranty) on the entire Jeep! It was used as a promotional display vehicle for prestigious shows such as the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas and Easter Jeep Safari in Moab. It was always kept indoors while in storage. There is over $80,000 invested in this Jeep and many of the parts and accessories are nearly brand new. This Jeep turns heads and you need to be prepared to spend time talking about and showing it off to people everywhere you go. There are many small details that really set this Jeep apart. Please don't be fooled by other "high end" builds that showcase fancy specs that use great brands, but entry level options. Red Dawn isn't just a show queen that will win you 1st place show awards; it is also a highly capable Jeep Rubicon that will tackle any trail you point it at. Drop the auto-stick transmission into 1st gear, engage the electronic lockers and sway bar, then take your foot off the gas & brake and just steer! Please read through the entire description to see the many details that went into this build and why, when you compare it to similarly priced Jeeps, there really is no comparison on the depth of options or quality of components. Red Dawn started life as "Crimson Sol", a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited in Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl with a sticker price of $38,955 (before TT&L). Besides the feature rich Rubicon package, I also ordered a select number of additional options to ensure you would drive in comfort with modern styling. This included: - Front seat side-mounted side air bags - 5 Speed Automatic Transmission with Manual Mode sitting behind the powerful new 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine producing 285HP + 260 ft-lb of Torque (85HP MORE than the 2007-2011 3.8L motor) - Customer Preferred Package 24R which includes power windows (with one touch up/down feature), power door locks, power and heated side mirrors (when mounted in the factory steel doors), keyless remote entry, leather wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio and cruise control buttons, integrated alarm system and anti-lock four wheel disc brakes with ABS control - UConnect connectivity group with Bluetooth and satellite radio (remainder of my Sirius subscription is included, which ends 9/17/2014). The connectivity group includes wireless Bluetooth Phone connection and streaming music (yes, you can stream music directly from your Android or iPhone with no wires!), Voice activation system for phone, Electronic vehicle information system with active Tire Pressure Monitoring System that shows the actual tire pressure at each of the four tires plus distance to empty/trip info/temp/compass/MPG, front panel auxiliary (MP3) jack and USB hook-ups. There is also a powered USB port and 110V household style outlet in the center console (no need for a power inverter to run your small electronics). I then upgraded the sound system using four JBL 6.5" GTO Series 2-way speakers in the lower dash and overhead sound bar. There is also a power port located in the subwoofer enclosure in case you want to run small electronics while camping or during a tailgate party. - Air Conditioning with Automatic Temperature Control Feature - 3-Piece Hard Top with front removable Freedom Panels and storage bag, rear window defroster and rear window wiper plus privacy glass tint all around - Factory Heavy Duty Tow Hitch with integrated 4-pin trailer wiring - Beefy next generation Dana 44 axles front AND rear - Command-Trac 4WD System splits torque 50/50 to the front and rear axles for off-roading conditions where more traction is required. The main case joint is clamped by 18 bolts for added structural stiffness - Roc-Trac 4WD System with 4:1 low gear ratio and crawl speeds - Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials front AND rear allows you to engage one or both axles with a simple push of a button on the dash -- no climbing out to engage manual hubs - Rubicon Electronic front sway-bar disconnect system allows you to engage or disengage the front sway-bar by simply pushing a button on the dash, so no pins to pull and put back - Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control monitors throttle, speed and braking when you're travelling downhill as well as applies the break for a short period when going uphill, so you have time to accelerate without rollback - Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Trailer Sway Control (TSC) helps keep you and whatever you're towing, safely and securely on course and under control - Remote engine start NOW FOR THE AFTERMARKET OPTIONS! A full build list which includes part numbers is available for the buyer. DRIVELINE UPGRADES: GEARS, DRIVESHAFTS & DRIVETRAIN UPGRADES - Alloy USA 5.13 ratio gears front AND rear which restore the Jeep's power after the larger tires were installed - Alloy USA front and rear driveshafts for extra strength over stock and to compensate for the length difference after the lift. - TeraFlex front AND rear Heavy Duty 3/8" differential covers, powder coated to color match the body, to allow you to glide over rocks and other obstacles without worry that the factory ¼" diff covers will puncture - Rugged Ridge exhaust spacer kit which is needed with the 3.6L motor so that the front driveshaft doesn't hit the exhaust cross-over pipe when the suspension articulates SUSPENSION LIFT UPGRADES: COMPLETE LONG ARM SUSPENSION SYSTEM & REMOTE RESEVOIR SHOCKS - First of all this is not a simple bolt-on "lift kit", it is a complete all inclusive Suspension System. There is a reason it takes nearly 17 hours of labor to install it! But once installed, you can literally set it and forget it. The heart is a TeraFlex 4" Elite Low Center of Gravity (LCG) Long Arm Suspension System. Don't settle for a short or mid-arm kit that may only replace the springs or that use fixed length control arms which cannot be adjusted and suffer from severe bump-steer. The TeraFlex system is ALL INCLUSIVE and includes JK specific 4" coil springs front AND rear, longer front AND rear sway bar links, FULLY adjustable long front AND rear / lower AND upper control arms so that you can adjust the precise axle position, beefy frame brackets & gussets, rear spring guides and retainers, rear heavy duty trackbar bracket, beefy rear adjustable Monster trackbar, heavy duty front trackbar bracket and frame brace, beefy front adjustable Monster trackbar, plus front AND rear brake lines drop kits. The design provides excellent anti-dive in the front (the nose dive associated with hard braking) and anti-squat in the rear (the "Oh! Look at the Sky! feeling when you stomp on the throttle). Many of these components are also powder coated to color match the body for that little bit extra styling touch! - TeraFlex front AND rear SpeedBump bump stops compress slowly (similar to a shock) to reduce the stress of slamming your axle into the frame. - Doetsch Tech Shocks front AND rear fully adjustable & re-buildable 2.0 Remote Reservoir shocks in a chrome-like finish TIRE AND WHEEL UPGRADE: - Falken 37x13.50R18 Wild Peaks AT Tires. These tires are known for excellent off road capabilities and a quiet on-road ride. - Black Rhino Imperial Matte wheels. LIGHTING UPGRADES: HUGE LED LIGHTING PACKAGE INCLUDING AN sPOD AND LED HEADLAMPS - NO birds nest of wires under Red Dawn's hood! We wired all of our lighting to the best in class sPOD 6 Switch + Source Electrical Accessory Management System. The sPOD includes six double light Contura switches, a two piece wire harness set with 8 multi-color leads utilizing 18AWG wires and Deutsch connectors, a 12 position terminal block, 6 Bosch style cube relays, 6 ATO style fuses, 6 diodes to protect from "field collapse", an inline 50AMP circuit breaker, 8AWG power leads, an integrated low-voltage-cut-off circuit that cuts the power when voltage drops to 10.6VDC (when you forget to turn an accessory off) and a custom Jeep JK under hood mounting bracket for the Source "brain". This system allows you to run up to any combination of up to 6 electrical accessories such as lights, an air compressor or any other 12V automotive electrical accessory. All of the LED lighting on Red Dawn is wired into the sPOD and can be turned on/off through the over-head switch management module that is mounted above the rearview mirror, which does not interfere with the top latch system. - 4 JW Speaker TS3000V LED spot lights mounted on a Rugged Ridge windshield light bar with the added drop bar kit. This combination lets me pull into my garage with a standard 8 foot door. - 2 JW Speaker TS3000R LED spot lights mounted to the Rugged Ridge winch fairlead gives you an excellent light pattern for using the winch at night. - JW Speaker 9049 LED light bar mounted on the rear bumper over the hitch receiver to blast light for those late night trailer hookups/unhooks or to light up the campsite. Includes a remote control for extra convenience! - JW Speaker Evolution 8700 LED Headlamps (provide a "blackout" effect when off), along with the H13 to H4 wiring adapters - Taillights and remaining marker lights were all darkened ("smoked") for a stealthier look and to close match the black-out effect of the JW Speaker lighting. The newest Jeep JK aftermarket hood option has 2 large steel mesh covered vents at the front of the hood where engine heat builds up, allowing it to escape and keep your engine cool. There are also 2 additional steel mesh covered side vents to help the air flow throughout the entire engine bay. - Odyssey PC1220 Heavy Duty Maintenance Free Battery that has a typical 6-8 year service life (much better than an Optima Battery) BUMPER AND SPARE TIRE CARRIER UPGRADES: COMPLETE AFTERMARKET BUMPER AND CARRIER PACKAGE - Warrior Front Stubby Bumper with pre-runner and d-rings with an integrated Rugged Ridge winch. This is a heavy duty bumper that looks great and with the winch integrated inside the bumper, it offers protection for the winch itself and keeps the radiator openings clear for better air flow. - Warrior Rock Crawler rear bumper with d-rings. The heavy duty rear bumper offers great protection and is angled underneath to increase departure angle. The cut-out for the spare tire lets you mount larger tires lower to increase rear view mirror visibility. - TeraFlex Hinged Carrier & Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit with Hi-Lift jack mount. Unlike most large spare tire mounting kits, this one doesn't rely on connection to the bumper. This replaces the weak factory rear door hinges with a beefy hinge and mounting plate solution (single piece) that supports up to a 37" tire. If you change the rear bumper or tire size, the carrier can be adjusted to move the spare up or down for proper fitment. Additionally, it offers a 3rd brake light and license plate relocation. The original license plate location uses a European factory plate plug for a clean relocation. PROTECTION UPGRADES: FULL SPORT CAGE UPGRADE AND UNDERBODY SKID SYSTEM - Rock Hard 4x4 Front Ultimate Sport Cage with integrated handles to assist you in getting in or out from either the driver or passenger side. The entire cage was powder coated to color match the exterior Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl paint. - Rock Hard 4x4 Rear Center Bar Sport Cage, also powder coated to color match, strengthens the rear section of the factory cage by tying the B and C sections of the factory cage together. - TeraFlex Rock Sliders that mount to, and strengthen the body tub. I will include 1 of these tops (your choice) for when you want to run topless and still get some sun protection! - Rugged Ridge Headlamp and Turn lamp black trim - Rugged Ridge mirror relocation mounts. Moving the factory mirrors up to the body lets you run doorless, or with different doors (e.g. tube doors or half doors) while still retaining the legally required side view mirrors. The holes in the original factory steel doors are replaced with a color-matched plug. INTERIOR UPGRADES: FULL CUSTOM LEATHER INTERIOR, SPRAY-IN-BEDLINER & COLOR MATCHED TRIM - Katzkin complete Front AND Rear Custom 2-tone leather seats with black leather outers and red perforations and double stitching all along the seat edges. Also has "Doetsch Off-Road" logo stitched in both front headrests - Rhino Linings complete Professional (No DIY) Spray-In-Bedliner which covers the entire floor tub from front to back and side to side, including the inner tailgate. You can still pull out the floor plugs and hose off the floor when it gets dirty, but now you don't need to worry about collecting harmful dirt/dust/rocks in the carpet or get that mold & mildew smell from damp carpet - Rugged Ridge Interior Trim pieces, color matched, which includes the steering wheel, rear cupholders, and center dash - Drake Off-Road Billet Aluminum Pistol Grip Transmission Shifter Handle, powder coated to match -- literally looks like a firearm pistol grip! - Daystar Upper Dash Panel with Universal Ball Mount so you can mount your GPS or Phone, without losing room to store loose change or other small items - Rugged Ridge removable Front AND Rear "Catch-All" Floor Mats that have a deep textured surface designed to catch debris and keep them off the floor. It was built as Crimson Sol for SEMA 2012 and then overhauled as Red Dawn for SEMA 2013. As such, I have tried to represent the current parts/options/etc to the best of my ability, but this is a used vehicle and it's possible I may have missed something. There are probably even things I've forgotten to list. I do have many of the factory items that were replaced that I will be happy to include (e.g. the original carpeting). The decals seen in the pictures can be easily removed.
