I bought this bike new in Daytona Beach, Florida from a BMW dealer. The purpose was to purchase a bike that I could eventually add a sidecar to and ride to my job in central Florida which was a 70 mile round trip per day. At my current age of 56, the dream of a sidecar is not happening but the bike does provide a glorious ride! It has never spent a single night outside. Garage kept only. Never had a hiccup. Starts immediately on first push of button. Never dropped, tipped or hurt in any way. Has original leather saddlebags that I had dealer install. Due to the vintage look it receives many compliments from awestruck people! Safe to say that the bike is as close to showroom condition as possible with the exception of the mileage and normal wear. The only service it's had was the 6K standard service from the original dealer for which I have a receipt. It is wired to plug a battery charger in very easily.
