Vehicle Detail
1997 Camaro SS/Z28 - 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition - 5.7L V-8 4speed/automatic Transmission. Engine- runs & drives well...clean and powerful {has a very small pinhole in exhaust that needs welding} easy and cheap repair Interior- everything works such as lights,gauges,power-windows,cd-player and yes even the A/C works...front seats have wear and need seat covers Exterior- white with black trim in decent shape, has some scratches here and there.. No dents,or damage. has tinted windows and custom rims. Its a very clean and nice collector's car in need of very little...just want to see it go to a good home On Jun-27-14 at 18:07:00 PDT, seller added the following information: A total of 979 30th Anniversary SS Camaros were made in 1997. An additional 108 30th Anniversary Camaro SS vehicles were modified by SLP to include a 330 hp (246 kW) version of the LT4 engine (108 total LT4 cars were made, 100 US, 6 Canadian & 2 prototypes). SS cars will have RPO code R7T. The LT4 was the fastest factory-built Camaro available, as well as the most expensive at over US$38,000...This info is from Wikimedia website.... This is a rare edition of the camaro and i have the trim code showing it to be a 330H.P LT4 engine....As only 108 LT4 330hp camaro's were ever produced, this car will only skyrocket in value....I have a no-reserve auction going and good luck to all bidders On Jun-30-14 at 13:01:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to mention something i had forgotten about in my description, the locking mechanism for the console lid is missing and needs replaced...I know they can be ordered or found at a wrecking yard for about {10.00} Also the check engine light came on this morning as i took it for car wash, so i rushed to the mechanic shop to have it put on the OBDII scanner and they told me all they found wrong was that the O2 sensor went bad and needs replaced, its a 50.00 part....I apologize for this new information to all bidders,i just want to be as honest as i can... I was asked by a bidder what all slp had done to this vehicle, to my knowledge from the previous owner i know they have a free-flowing header package/exhaust and rear-end gears have been modified as well many interior engine components, other than that I'm not positive...I hope this info helps On Jul-03-14 at 18:25:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I being told by several ebay members that this is not an Lt4, that it is an Lt1, i believe it to be with the info from the website i saw and the code on the trim tag from slp, also by the previous owner, however i can not be certain and urge all bidders to check all info out for yourself, Thx
