Vehicle Detail
This is a gorgeous 1966 Impala Convertible Super Sport Clone. Beautiful Marina Blue exterior. Has a rebuilt 454 engine that was fully balanced also. The big block was then decked out with all the 427 flags and insignias. Very fast and very smooth. New remanufactured M-22 Rock Crusher wide ratio 4 speed transmission. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster 50 mufflers, it has a very nice deep sound but still quiet enough to easily talk in the car. New top of the line Monroe shocks on the front and Monroe Air Shocks on the rear. Factory console with gauges. Deluxe convertible top with rear glass window and new hydraulic motor. This Impala has been fully restored front to back. Everything works great. Just had the front end aligned, all new parts were put on with the restoration, had the brakes adjusted, and a new bigger heavy duty battery installed. I purchased this car 9 months ago from the person who did the restoration. The only thing it didn't have when I bought it was a radio which I had the radio and speaker installed recently and works great. The only things I can think of that could use any attention are, the drivers side window rolls up a little harder than the right, I think the window track could use some adjusting. And the right side door panel has a small black taped area at the very bottom. Replace that panel if desired and the interior is excellent front to back. New carpet of course. Original style key opens all locks. On the factory gauges the oil, temp, and battery work fine. The vacuum gauge is not hooked up. I have all the original shop manuals and pictures documenting the restoration. I have $23,000 in receipts just for the parts I will give the new buyer, and a appraisal from an auto appraisal house for $31,300. The only reason I am selling the car is I lost my job 2 weeks ago and need the cash or this would be a keeper.
