1978 Honda CB

1978 Honda CB125. I bought this in 2004 and have never licensed it, so I am (reluctantly) selling it. Bike has always started on first or second kick, even after sitting all winter. Runs great, surprisingly peppy (I weigh about 110, your results may differ), gearbox smooth and quiet. Seat is not torn (!) A couple of things need to be mentioned: gas tank is from another (1977?) bike, original was rusted. Color was not exactly right shade of red, so I painted tank and sidecovers so they would all match. I worked at a body shop at the time, so it is a decent paint job and has held up well for nearly 10 years. Previous owner had installed after-market exhaust, I left it on because it is not loud and looks OK. (I do have a "new" stock exhaust in the included parts. Other that that, it would benefit from a new chain and sprockets, but is very drivable the way it is. New battery this year. About the same time I bought a freight damaged 1982 bike with 4/10 of a mile on it--most of the spare parts are from that bike and are unused, although they could use a cleaning and may have small dings, etc. Also, the guy I bought it from had acquired some parts in order to get the gas tank, so there is quite a few parts that go with this including a couple boxes of smaller parts not pictured. I would think the spare parts would be worth a few hundred dollars by themselves. Buyer to pick up in Lansing Michigan (sorry, no shipping). Title is clear.
