I bought my Mustang in 2002 and put it in a restoration shop and left it there for 3 years so they could take their time on restoration and I could buy the required parts along. The total restoration cost was $15,000. I recently had a professional appraisal that came back at $21,000 (provide upon request.). Here are highlights of the restoration. New 289 crate engine. Has no more than 100 miles on it. Engine accessories replaced as required. Holley Carburetor and transmission and rebuilt. Starts at turn of key. Body stripped down to bare metal, sprayed with rust preventative. Fenders and floorboards replaced, as well as headlight rims. Interior and exterior sprayed same color. New interior to include pony seat covers, carpet, headliner, dash pad, door pas, radio, chrome horn New suspension to include u-joints, brakes, drums, shocks and front suspension New gas tank and trunk mat New wiring under hood and in trunk. New bumpers And various chrome parts, nuts and bolts I have pictures of the restoration progress I can send you. Mileage is only a guess by what's on speedometer. Speedometer works but need to be re-geared to the transmission. Neutral safety switch needs to be hooked up. I am selling my Mustang to make room in my garage for my new 26 Model T project.
