Vehicle Detail
This is my 1971 Chevrolet Camaro. NO RESERVE AUCTION. THE HIGH BIDDER GETS IT. Here it is for your consideration. If you have been looking for one you should give it a look. It has a 307 engine, powerglide automatic transmission, factory exhaust, and Chevy hubcaps on steel wheels. It is perfect for a build. The last time it was on the road was in 1982. The alternator was removed and used on another car. The upper radiator hose will be inside the trunk. The car ran hot and has a blown head gasket on cylinder #2. I have ran a compression test and put compressed air inside of the spark hole to be absolutely sure. It will need head gaskets at the very least. Beyond that, I just don't know. Transmission should be fine. This is a small block V8 car. Title is free and clear. The title is in my possession. It has all of the glass. I have all chrome window molding. It will be inside the car. I can see some rust in the dash through the windshield on the lower front passenger side of the windshield. Front windshield is cracked and the passenger door will not open from the outside(I guess the mechanism is off track or broken). Extra seats and parts come with the car if you want them. If you have good sheet metal skills and can butt weld, undoubtedly, I believe the original Chevrolet body panels on this car can be saved. However, you can opt to replace the panels if you like. The trunk drop offs, rear frame rails, subframe, rockers, inner wheel wells, and outer wheel wells are in really great shape. They just need cleaning. The trunklid has some rusty pin holes in the back above the tail panel. The passenger rear quarter panel right where it meets the tail panel near the tail lights has had a slight bump from some sort of incident in the past. The floors are original and do have some soft rusted areas. They can be repaired with small panels and you can grind down the welds for a factory look if you can butt weld. You can also use a one piece floor. The same goes for the trunk. Please see the photos and ask about any concerns. Please ask if you have any concerns at all. Please ask any and all questions that you have prior to bidding. You don't have to guess or wonder about anything. I will give honest and prompt answers to all of your questions to help you make a good decision about whether or not you should bid on this 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe. I could only upload 24 photos. Please let me know if you need more. Please only bid if you are capable of finishing the transaction. I'm located in Duluth, GA 30096. You will need to bring your trailer when you come to pickup the Camaro. I will help you load up everything and secure it. If you do decide to ship the Camaro with a transporter that will not be a problem. I will assist your transporter with loading, securing, and promptly send you photos of the loaded vehicle as the transporter leaves me. Please bid to win. I'll do my part to take care of you. Thanks for your consideration. On Jun-21-14 at 05:21:39 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a factory front disc brake, multi leaf rear springs, and 10 bolt rear end car.
