Just getting started. For sale is a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle TDI with manual transmission. It runs and drives 100%, was a one owner car and is being sold with no reserve. The 1.9L four cylinder turbo charged diesel engine purrs along without a miss or smoke. No "check engine" or warning lights of any kind. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly with plenty of clutch. The brakes, steering and suspension seem normal. No exhaust leaks. The exterior is a glossy silver. There are no major dents or dings. No body rust. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 50% tread (see pic). The windshield has a 6 inch crack on the driver side. The lights and lenses are bright. Considering the miles, the exterior is in very good condition. The interior is black carpet and leather seats. The driver seat has the typical wear spot on the side (see pic). There is a factory sound system with a CD changer in the rear but the cassette is missing. The power options such as cruise control, windows, etc. work as designed however the knob on the driver door for the side mirrors is broken (see pic). The heat is hot but the AC is also warm. Don't know why. The headliner is sagging. Dispite the miles, this car drives like new. They almost run forever. There are no mechanical drive train problems and no indication of any impending issues. The new owner will be able to drive home, with confidence, no matter where they live. This quality pre-owned Beetle is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer.
