Vehicle Detail
Classic bike lovers you’re going to love this one! You are bidding on a completely stock 1979 Suzuki GS750E Motorcycle. The 750cc, air cooled, four stroke, transverse four cylinder engine has only 21,000 original miles on it. Mechanically, this bike is in excellent condition (does need carb cleaning) . Brand new battery was just installed in the bike. See youtube start up video. As you can see in the photos cosmetically, bike is in beautiful shape. Gas tank is spotless and free from any dents or rust inside and out. Paint and Chrome on the body and exhaust are in excellent condition with no rust. The front duel disc and rear single disc brakes work great. The chain and chain sprocket are both in nice condition. All gauges work including the gear indicator which allows the rider to see which gear the bike is in. Seat is in great condition with no rips. The front tire of the bike is brand new, however the rear tire will most likely need to replaced in the future, other than that bike is in remarkable condition. The bike comes with the factory tool kit. This is a smooth yet powerful riding bike and would be great for commuting, touring, or just a beautiful vintage bike for any collection. This bike is in much better than average condition for a 1979 model. This is an original 1979 GS750E survivor with no custom, chopping, bobber or anything like that ever done. Just a good clean survivor. The chrome is very good, the tank and side covers are in good shape with no dents, dings or noticeable scratches. The striping on the tank shows the edges of the plastic stripe. See photo. The bikes starts right up (see youtube video) . All electrical works. Rides well, gears and clutch work fine, brakes fine. Makes really good power. Of note: the bike takes a bit of time to warm up as I think the bike needs a good sea foam or carbs cleaning. It would need this if you were to daily ride and not collect the bike. With some minor clean up the bike good be a VERY good collector bike. With a carb cleaning it would be an excellent daily rider. The bike starts and idles well with the choke out. Until it warms up it doesn't rev well. http://youtu.be/QX3G1VvTMG8 I will help your shipper in anyway I can. I will also hold the bike in heated / AC secured garage for a period providing the bike is paid in full. I recommend USHIP.com used them many times and it has worked out well. This bike has the making of a show (original) bike or daily rider. Too many bikes and a few have to go! Coming soon, 1978 GS1000E (first year, beautiful shape, black with white stripe), 1977 GS750 (first year, 10k miles), 1985 GS450L (800 miles), 1980 GS550E. All very nice bikes.. guess I'm hooked on the old late 70s and early 80s Japanese bikes.
