Meet Lucy.... She was found in a barn. Her owner was only the 2nd and he took good care of her but ultimately became too old to drive her. Our dream was a father son project that would be fun, educational and rewarding. Then college and girls came into play so it became a Father project.... That has sat in the garage for far too many years. Lucy is a 1969 GT6+. She had been painted by her earlier owner but the work was in need of replacement so we decided to strip her to the bone for a complete restoration. She has been 80% sanded with the bare metal treated with a product that prevents rusting. At the stage now where the body was going to be pulled for sandblasting, spray welding to fix some minor rust holes and then new paint. Lots of spare parts, both used and new. Detailed photo history of the work to date along with shop manuals, good glass and all the parts that have been removed. Have over $4,000 in her to date but know that she is a work in process and will be priced accordingly. She needs a new home with someone who can finish what we started.
