Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 2012 Honda XR650L with aftermarket parts. I have most of the original parts to go with the bike as well. I bought this directly from Honda North America in California and rode it home to Kansas from a CycleWorld Magazine Ride. The bike has been ridden off road and has been down twice to my knowledge both times while I was riding it in an enduro event. The bike has ROX bar risers, Pro Taper handlebars, grips and Acerbis hand guards. The bike as pictured also has a Acerbis 5.8 gallon fuel tank, and a wolf man tool bag. The chain and sprokets are the originals and I am including a 14T sproket to make up for the difference between first and second gear when off road - If you have ridden an XR or read the forums you will understand. The bike has been run with either Honda motorcycle oil or Castrol motorcycle oil and a new filter with each change. The air filter in a uni and the Jets have been replaced with slightly larger ones(1-2 over stock) and the smog pump and hoses have been removed as I am not in California. If you want to ride this bike home I have some moderatley worn dual sport street tires that I used to get it home from California that I can put on otherwise it has a D606 on the back and a Sedona knobby on the front. Both have pretty good wear on them so new tires would be warranted for any long ride soon. The bike runs great and I am sad to see it go but life happens. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before you bid. Payent in the form of Cash or Certified Check at pickup is required. I will not ship the bike myself but if you want to schedule a shipper to come and pick up the bike I will make myself available to help load it. The GPS mount pictured does not go with the bike. The rub marks on the front number plate are from A wolfman number plate bag. With a little dirt and a lot of vibration you get permanent dirt marks.
