For sale is a 1947 Lincoln Zephyr sedan. I got this car recently, but another opportunity came up that allows me to get a car that I've been looking for a deal on for several years, so I need to let this go before I was able to put it together. I bought a rebuildable 302 V-8 to go in it and it will be included in the sale, if desired. The car came from an estate auction earlier in the year and I got it from the winning bidder of the auction. He informed me that the engine had been at a shop and the shop lost the crankshaft, so I did not but the rest of the engine, since I planned to put a modern drivetrain in it to make it a "restomod" cruiser. This is only the second year of the one-piece windshield and it's in good condition with no cracks. The doors all have glass, but three of the windows are down and since they're hydraulic, I can't put them up to see if they're cracked or not. I can't see any cracks from the top, but cannot be sure. All the other glass is in good shape, with only a little delamination on the vent windows. All four door handles work OK and there are individual heaters under both sides of the driver's seat. The seat covers are in rough shape and will need recovering, but the springs, etc. are intact. I do have the transmission cover and it's in decent shape. There is some rust-through in the floors, but easily repairable and since it's a full-frame car, it's not structural. Unfortunately, there are no keys for the car. I do have this listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I will consider AMERICAN ONLY trades, but it must be something that I can resell to try to make a small profit. After all, I'm selling this to finance my new project, so I'll need to turn it over quickly. The cost of the return trip is included in the $2.50 per mile. If the one-way distance is more than 350 miles, I need to charge an additional $50.00 per 350 miles for lodging. For example, The distance from Kingston, Wisconsin to Nashville, Tennessee is 678 miles. The transport charge for this trip is $1695 plus $50 for one night's lodging, for a total of $1745.
