Beautiful, classic 1999 Mercedes SL500 Sport. 3rd owner, California car. Clean CarFax. Brilliant silver with flawless black interior. Every option- heated seats, Xenon lights, AMG bumper and side skirts, etc. See list below. If you are searching for a fine SL500 Sport, here it is. Please do not waste my time telling me about other SL's that aren't a Sport, need work, etc. that you can buy for less. This car is priced fairly to anyone who knows these cars. This car is in showroom condition; you will be hard pressed to find another cosmetically or mechanically maintained SL500 anywhere. The silver exterior is in awesome original condition, and has never had paint work. The moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in near-perfect condition. A small scratch on drivers door that is barely visible and was left to keep original paint. See picture. The AMG chromed wheels are not discolored or corroded and the tires are almost new. The black soft top looks brand new. No rust or unusual wear to the undercarriage. The soft top operates and seals perfectly; no leaks or air infiltration at the windows. A solid 9.5 on the outside; just the usual stone chips in the front that are not noticeable. Mechanically, it starts and drives smoothly as it should. All service is up to date and maintained at the proper intervals by a Mercedes mechanic. The engine compartment is spotless, and the V8 performs with power and without hesitation. No corners cut or expense spared in maintaining this car. On the inside, the black interior still looks and maintains that new car feel. The door panels, carpeting, dash, center console, face plates, etc. are original. The optional factory upgraded leather seats are incredibly soft and the leather shows little to no wear at the usual trouble spots. All of the interior buttons / switches (power windows, door locks, cruise, antenna, and 6 way power seats ) work without issue. The Bose stereo system plays perfectly. A 9.8 inside. Properly garaged year round and only driven in sunny weather. It is in outstanding, all original condition. I have all of the original paperwork, books, hardtop stand / cover, and 2 orig. keys, tool kit, and windscreen. CAR NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Upgrades include 2012 grill, AMG chrome pedals, wood shift knob. New soft top windows by dealer, hydraulics, tires, chromed AMG wheels. New battery (very important in these cars). Not a finer example of an SL500 anywhere. 93,356 miles. Comes with original, perfect hardtop with new stand and cover, 2 sets of keys, SL73 AMG badging. Original grill and badging come with the car.
