Season IV Knight Rider Kitt Replica In the final season of Knight Rider, ratings were dropping so KITT was enhanced to try and attract new viewers. Super Pursuit Mode and the Convertible option were added to KITT's array of features. This is a dead on replica of the S IV Convertible, and is built on an 1984 Autoforms Convertible. GM did not offer Convertibles as a factory option, but a company in Elkhart, Indiana would take stock Firebirds and Camaros and turn them into Convertibles. There were not many of these made and even less still driveable. That and the KR Conversion make this a very rare car.
