1937 Ford Slant Back 4 Door Hot Rod. This 1937 4 door is about as clean as you will find. This California car has only a few Pin holes of Rust in the rear wheel wells. The car was previously being built at Professional Hot Rod Shop. I purchased the car from the last owner after the shop had gone out of Business. There had been the complete body work done with the car in some primer and some of the car got painted. The Work looks to be good, but there is some cracking coming through due to sitting outside. The car is complete body minus hood (Bob Drakes $500). There are bumper brackets/ no bumpers. All of the Garnish moldings are there except the 2 rear quarter windows. There is no glass or door latches or window mechanisms, ready for a new glass kit and electric windows. The car has had a Boxed Front Frame & Mustang II cross-member installed with new Bushings and ball joints installed. Has tilt GM steering column with Key installed. Steering has not been hooked up. Firewall was Smoothed and recessed for the 302 Ford Small Block and C4 Transmission. Ford 9" Rear End with leaf spring suspension installed. The motor, transmission and Rear end were out of a Running 1970 Mustang with about 85,000 miles when the parts were removed. Has Front Disc Brakes and Rear Drum Brakes. The Frame and under carriage of the car have been painted with POR-15. The bottom of the car and floor are as Clean as you will find. Inside floor has also been POR-15. There has been a under floor mount power Brake booster assembly installed with a new single booster and master cylinder. Body is one of the nicest 1937 Ford real steal bodies that I have ever seen. There are some small pinholes in the rear fender wells, very easy fix. The fenders are very clean no rust at all. Rear fenders have had a Hagan gas door installed with 39 Ford Taillights Frenched in. The rear license plate has been frenched into the trunk. The door handles have been shaved and cowl vent. The running boards are in very good shape with some minor damage on the drivers running board very fixable. Has a few small Pinholes in one running board. Amazing condiotion for 1937 Running boards just need new rubber covers.The grille is a 7 out of 10. It is missing the bottom 2 bars, but you won't find an original grille in much better condition. The headlight buckets are there, but no lenses or Rings. Has rear seat, no front seat. The Rear Tail-Pan has no rust and has never been in an accident hard to believe for a 1937. This car will make a great Hot Rod. Coupes are cool, but you could actually take the Family in this car and you have a Real 1937 Ford Slant Back What you see is what you get. This car was taken from the shop as I said so whatever is missing was not gotten when the car was picked up. The car has a current Non-Op at California DMV has a Bill of Sale. Someone was starting to build a really nice Hot Rod. There has been a lot of good work started just needs someone to take over and get it finished and on the road. I have to many projects and this one is going to make room for more. I do require a deposit of $500 within 48 hours of sale by way of Paypal. I do have Large big Rig access to my business.
