1976 Chevrolet Vega Estate. Purchased from the original owner that always kept it garaged and barely drove the car. Since then I have loved it and it truly is a unique gem that gets tons of attention everywhere that it goes. Unfortunately it is time to part with it but I know that it will be cherished all the same with it's next owner. This Vega has 47,084 original miles on it. Original paint, interior, etc. Around the time it was new it received an aftermarket stereo, speakers, tach, and temp gauge. Also, the original owner did have the aluminum head swapped out for the steel one early on. Does have the original and optional 2.3L 2bbl motor. The Vega has been serviced frequently and the transmission shifts great. Car shows normal wear for it's age (pictures included) but "normal" for this means it is still beautiful. The car is wonderful to drive, comfortable, low maintenance collector car that is a real blast from the past. Gets 20 plus mpg cruising around. The imperfections include wear of weatherstripping, glass in side view mirror missing, rust under passenger door on the inside, and scratches in wood trim along with minor imperfections in the paint. As is typical of a car this age it does need to be gone through to tighten trim pieces, etc. For those in California it has not been smoged recently as I was deployed when that was due but did pass last time that was required.
