Vehicle Detail
2000 GMC Kodiak/TopKick C7500 Dually Below is a short list of specifications and features· Chevy Kodiak Cab and Chassis - C7500 - 19,000 GVW· Retrofitted with Pickup Truck Up-fit· 454 L-21 Fully Forged, Roller Cam, Multi Fuel Engine· Impco Factory Propane Setup· Dual exhaust with Flowmaster Mufflers· Custom Front and Rear Bumpers· 4 Wheel Disc Hydraulic Brakes· No Bumper Height Laws for this GVW· No CDL Required · Newer tires all the way around· New thick wall tubing custom custom Drive Shaft, u joints and splines· Drives like a normal sized truck· All new fluids - clean as honey in the Diff, Gearbox and Engine Crankcase· Truck was professionally serviced with a regularly scheduled maintenance record · Very clean no rust other than surface, no accident body and undercarriage· Many Custom Parts, too many to mention· Clear Title - current registration - turn key ready· Clean Carfax with all green check boxes "OK"The total build cost to date has been well over $45,000 not counting the original purchase price of the truck - The Monroe Factory Conversion Kodiak and Topkick Pickups were $80K and up to $100K+ for some so these are pretty pricey vehicles. This truck is currently insured for $45K based on the insurers own valuation. Great news is you could not build this truck for what I am asking even if someone gave you a clean Kodiak to start with for free! The truck is a turn key running, driving, state inspected, licensed vehicle. There are no bumper height laws for this GVW chassis. There are no emissions regulations. The truck drives more like a regular sized pickup than a delivery or dump truck. Overall this truck gets more looks than anything I have ever seen. If you have a Lamborghini and don't get enough attention then maybe you should try this truck. It would be perfect as an advertising tool for a company or for use at events, and it is wrap ready. This truck will draw the most attention to your business possible short of lighting your building on fire while filled with fireworks ;-) You can apply for some green energy credits for the use of an alternative fuel and receive a huge tax break, or better yet if that is your field, then this is perfect fit. The body is straight, rust free top and bottom, and has a completely custom paint job. As far as an advertising or graphics wrap, it is ready to go right now. The undercarriage is extremely clean - no grease, oil, road dirt, tar, rust, or anything - it looks great. No leaks or problems. Tires are nearly new. Vehicle was professionally maintained on a scheduled commercial program by Schwans up to 100k miles before it was made into this amazing machine. The RPO option list is so full on this truck that it took the factory 2 RPO sticker sheets to list them all. One of the main ones is the highly sought after L-21 engine that is listed by GM as a High Performance engine - it even specifically says this on the Auto Check. This is a 6th Generation, Mark IV Big Block Chevy that has distributor-less coil near plug ignition, a fully forged bottom end, both crankshaft and rods AND pistons, a Roller Cam (reportedly the 502 Crate Motor part), and will accept ANY previous performance cylinder head offered for the BBC. This is supposed to be one of the benchmark engines of the Big Block Chevy world. It has the factory Impco conversion, but is a true dual fuel engine with all of its fuel injection in place including the ECU, all fuel rails, injectors, etc. You can purchase a Rockwell axle set and transfer case to make it a 4 X 6. It is a factory multi fuel engine currently set up to run on propane. It cost me only $2.69 a gallon to fill it up last time with Propane at Uhaul with a 20 gallon discount and the prices are still dropping from the winters highs - that is road cost Propane filled at many places including UHaul, Tractor Supply, etc. It has 150 gallon capacity with one 100 gallon tank and 50 gallon on the other side. It is a dual fuel engine so if you would like to run gasoline you can, and all of the fuel injection is completely intact - all you will need is a tank and pump. This is a factory Impco propane conversion, not some aftermarket kit. Propane stores for years and won't go bad like gasoline. Propane has more energy content per pound than gasoline. Propane loves very high compression and supercharging. Propane burns many times cleaner, so oil changes are further apart and the inside of the engine stays very clean. Propane has always been far cheaper than gasoline.Well over $45,000 invested in the customization and build of this BEAST!SALE OR TRADE FOR ???? Call/Text: 214-721-2853 or 972-800-4574
