I stumbled across this early last year. What a cool car. Customized Beetle convertible. 40 Ford hood and grill, brand New convertible top, wide whitewall bias ply tires, rear fender skirts, custom rear deck lid. Brand new battery. Engine just professionally rebuilt with less than 100 miles on it. Spent $3000 (have receipt) not even broken in yet. The car overall is in great shape, needs some tinkering for being 44 years old. I have an original hood (unpainted) for it as well if you like.Parts are easy to come by. I believe that the miles are original but can't verify at 66,000. I hate to sell it. Only reason I'm selling, I'm being relocated to Chicago and have no where to keep it. I have a clean title. Fun car gets the looks!
