omegazed Store Description For sale 1991 Mercedes Benz 560SEC W126 Coupe with SALVAGE TITLE and 138,000 miles. This is an old-school, luxury coupe with a big, naturally-aspirated V8 that puts out 300hp and 330 ft-lbs torque. This is German-built S-Class comfort and performance for bargain price. This car originally sold for $80,000. This car is big, heavy and fast. It will have you moving very fast before you even realize it. But you might miss the joy of feeling every bump in the road. There is nothing like that special, solid Mercedes feel. It rides great and runs great. This is a driver’s car and there is nothing like it for the price. I have added a few convenience items to make it better as a daily driver. I changed the stereo to JVC KDX250BT with Bluetooth, USB, Aux-in and Pandora control. You can see it on Amazon. I also installed a remote control for the door locks because the driver’s door-key does not work. You can also use the trunk or passenger key to unlock the driver door. I have taken good care of it and performed all the maintenance including regular fluid changes. I use only the best available parts. This car would be great as daily driver or to part out. The parts are worth more than the car; the hood alone cost $700. We owned this car since 1998. My wife had an accident that damaged the front end a few years ago. There was BODY DAMAGE ONLY, but the parts are very expensive so the insurance company totaled it. We bought it back and fixed it because this is such great car. I believe in full disclosure and lots of pictures because you need to know what you are getting. The good stuff:New Tires, Goodyear Eagle GTs on chrome rims.Power windows, all work.Power door locks, with after-market, remote unlock.Dual airbags (passenger air-bag was rarity in ‘91).Interion in good condition, no cracks or damage, just a little faded.Original first aid kit.Leather seats all in great condition.8-way power seats for driver and passenger with 2 presets.Seat belt extenders all work. Traction Control System to limit wheel slip.4-wheel disc brakes with ABS. Recent brake job with OEM pads.New stereo head unit with Bluetooth, hands-free calling, USB, Aux-In (no CD).Engine and transmission in good condition. No leaks, noises or smoke.Recent tune-up with new plugs, wires, distributor and rotor.New radiator and hoses.So Cal car has never seen snow or salt roads. No kids and no smoking.California tags good through Oct. 2014. Nothing prevents you from driving it every day.Sun roof is stuck. The motor works so it will work if you get it unstuck.Could use fresh paint and minor body work. see picturesAC does not work. It would work if converted to R134. Heater works fine.Driver side key does not work. Door still locks using remote or other doors. No wiper fluid reservoir.Tach doesn't work.
