Up for auction is my beautiful 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary model. I have owned this particular car for 3 years and it has been a great vehicle. It sports an older but still very attractive paint job and still has the original interior. This is not a totally restored trailer queen but a very nice condition driver. I take it out every weekend as long as it is nice out and it is a very reliable and well running vehicle. There is no rust visible and I have included pics of both frame rails underneath to show how solid this car really is. It starts right up and runs well, no smoke or leaks. The outside features a nice older paint job with a few nicks and blemishes, but nothing that really takes away from the beauty of this vehicle. The interior is original save for an upgraded stereo system that sounds phenomenal and an aftermarket dash cap that is still in good shape. Underneath the hood is still all factory. It rides on original rims with BF Goodrichs that still have plenty of tread. This is a car you can buy and drive without having to put any money in it. I have kept up the maintenance as I've owned it, replacing the valve cover gaskets, exhaust and battery in the last year. Also just had an oil change done. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it has been a very reliable TA for me. That being said, the things I have noticed it needs, and has needed since I purchased it, are these items. The power antenna is inop, antenna stays in upright position. The steering wheel is the original one, just needs the gray leather cover reinstalled. Also has a black console cover instead of the factory gray one. I purchased it this way and quite honestly they never bothered me enough to address. All in all, this is just a great looking and running 10th Anniversary TA that you won't need to spend 40k to own and that you can enjoy cruising in on weekends. I assure you that you won't be able to stop anywhere without someone coming up to tell you what a nice looking car you have. As with my other 10th Anniversary TA and my 68 RS Camaro ragtop I have sold on eBay, this will be a real NO RESERVE auction, highest bidder wins it.
