This is a two-owner 1983 DeLorean. It is an extremely low mileage survivor car and is very original. My father purchased this vehicle new in the eighties. Since then it has been in Southern California & Southern Nevada. Starts easily and runs without a problem. Regularly started and lightly driven on occasion. When driven, this car gets a lot of attention. Approximately 2,800 miles. 5-speed manual transmission. Grey seats & trim. Exterior stainless steel body panels are in excellent condition. No ripples, gouges, dents, or rust anywhere. This car has no major damage and has never been in an accident. Interior is all original and in good condition. This is a smoke-free automobile. All glass and seals are in very nice condition. No leaks are evident. The gullwing doors are in perfect working order. All struts were replaced a couple years ago. This car runs and the motor is original to the car. Car is currently registered, recently passed California smog check, and title is clean. No modifications, this car is largely stock. Several parts have been replaced - e.g. tires, battery, headliner, master brake cylinder, fuel pump, fuel accumulator, fuel filter, baffle,and struts (door, hood, & rear louver). Where applicable, all parts were purchased directly from DMC or SpecialTAuto. This vehicle has no major damage anywhere, it is accident free. Considering its age, this is a very respectable car but it is not show quality. Known issues:There are minor dings concentrated in less than a one inch area on the left front panel. They are noticeable only from close up. Other than that, the panels and grain are in excellent condition. I've included photos which were taken in natural sun conditions.There are a couple brown spots in the interior which I was told are due to excessive adhesive at the factory. There's a small crack in the vinyl portion of the passenger's seat.If I were keeping this car I would dye the black portions of the front & rear fascia.It has always (since originally purchased) had a battery drain issue, which is mitigated by a cut off switch.
