1994 BMW 5-series 530i I am selling a 530i BMW 4-door sedan. It has very low milage for its age - 67,952 miles and was kept in an indoor garage. I relisted this item. I had a "Best Offer" from a bidder who purchased another car before I accepted her offer. I've driven this several times this winter to upstate New York (2.5-3 hour drive) and had no problems. My regular mechanic has wanted to buy this car asked me every time I brought the car in. His son is now in college now so he has other financial burdens and couldn't buy it now that I am ready to sell, so I am putting it on eBay. The car is in great shape but I have noted any cosmetic issues at the bottom of this list. Most of the cosmetic issues were caused by the garage valets. Also, the specifications listed below were taken form a BMW dealership. I verified most of this from the manual or my knowledge of the car but I am not a car mechanic so the "Mechanical" section is a little over my head. I am selling this car without license plates and therefore you will need to register it and get temporary/permanent plates before you pick up the car. This car is for pickup and cash on delivery. I will consider taking an EFT (electronic funds transfer) but need to talk to my bank first and would prefer COD. The Bluebook value of this car is $5700 but I'm selling for less. This occurred as I was exiting the Manhattan Bridge in Brooklyn. I turned the corner and the light changed yellow. I stopped quickly because a large dump truck stopped in front of me suddenly. A small honda or Toyota sports car hit my rear bumper with his right side pop-up headlight. Because I recently got the car, I called the police and a report was taken. His insurance replaced the rubber molding on the rear bumper, touched up the paint on the bumper and may have also replaced the tow hitch door. There was no problems otherwise and I never had problems after that. This occurred in 1994 and this car is a 1994 model. the BMW brakes are stronger than his brakes so he couldn't stop as fast as I did.An ebayer asked me about the condition of the front seats under the seat covers. The seat covers were purchased in year one to try to keep the light grey colored leather clean. My garage tends to get very dusty from city smog and car exhaust and they tend to leave the driver's window opened in case owners forget to disable the alarm. So dirt gets in and the valets sit in all the cars and move dirt around. These covers were purchased in my first year to try to keep them cleaner. They were not used to conceal damage for this auction. The rear leather seats and leather panels and trim are no where nearly as dirty. They should be easy to clean. I did them back in Nov. and they came out nice.
