I love the body lines & style the mid 60's had & this truck does not disappoint. The body lines, gas tank filler, attenna hole has been filled. The tailgate has been welded closed. The color is Hot rod flatz black in and out. The body isnt laser straight but for a 48 year old beauty its part of the charater. The truck is body droped about 2" and every body panel that touches the ground has a steel plate reinforcement welded to it. There is also a plate under the rear bumper to protect it from scraping along the ground. The Frame also has steel plate welded to the bottom of the frame rails. The front has a traditional 3" Z and the rear has a 8" Notch. The body has a 3" channel to accomadate the single piece driveshaft when the truck is lowered to the ground. It has been coverted to a 5 lug set up with disc brakes in the front and drum in rear. The rear axle is 3.73 out of a 75 C-10. The front A arms are still 66 but it now has the Big Moog ball joints and 2" lowering spindles. The suspension is Full ACCUAIR E-level suspension with two viaair 480 and 6 gallons of air. I also have a Kleinn "Demon" model 730 train horn kit with the ultra blast master airflow kit to wake the dead! These things are freakin loud!!! The engine is a early 327 from a 67 C-10 it has been fully tested and tuned up with new HEI ignition, new edlebrock manafold and 600cfm carb. It has just a few chrome goodies. It has a CPP powersteering kit and a new alluminum radiator. Its back by a fully rebuilt TH350 and shifted by a new Lokar cable shifter. It has dual 12" glasspacks that dump under the truck just behind the cab for the old school exhaust rap sound. The alluminum fuel cell is in the rear of the truck and holds up to 20 gallons. It has led rear taillights and interior/bed light. The rest are normal and all work. The 6 gauges readout the mph,rpm,oil,water,volts and fuel it has a newer carpet kit with sound deadener on the floor and the original seat has been reupholstered. The bed has a darker wood floor with two access doors to get to the accuair, train horns, and optima blue deep cycle battery as well as the fuel cell and compressors. The wheels are Boss 338's in 20x8 1/2 and tires are 255/35/20 However the truck can accomadate up to a 22" wheel in the front and a 24" wheel in the rear and still lay body. Also has Porterbuilt hood hinges. This whole setup def turns heads and attracts attention everywhere I drive it! Now the cons- The little things that will still need to be done is the window rubber and door rubber is worn and will eventually need a replacement. The heater levers are broken but the fan and heater completely work and work well. Its summer time now and I always drive with the windows down anyways. The outside rockers have little decay on them as well as the rear cab corners nothing big and not really noticeable. This truck though has been garage kept by the last two owners. I like the look though and it adds to the charater and patina. Im just trying to be honest. Buyer responsible for shipping if it cant be picked up at my house.
