Vehicle Detail
2002 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 Z71 5.3L V8 4x4Florida truck NO RUSTTowing packageTan leather interiorFront and rear ventilation zonesClean Florida title in hand207k highway towed miles (was towed behind an RV for many of its miles, which from what I’ve read online accumulates mileage when the truck is not running)Well maintained. I am the third owner. Vehicle passed Colorado emissions 5/14/14. Certificate is good for 2 years. Factory skid platesFive new tires 285/70/17s with only 5k miles ($1,200)Matching full size spare wheel/tire1.5" lift (torsion key/spacers), handles just like stockAlpine headunit with bluetooth phone capabilityGPS mounted on a-pillar includedWindow vent visorsZ-71 stock roof rack including two bike racksCustom rear cargo storage drawer ($800-$1600 purchased separately, easily removable via turnbuckles at each corner attached to the factory tie downs) features two pull out drawers and a full width cargo area near the front.Transmission shifts great (corvette shift servo was installed, which makes the shifts crisper and lengthens the life of the transmission which is the main weakness of these transmissions. Has no effect on gas mileage or drive-ability, just takes away the lag between shifts.)Front seats have new Iggee seat covers ($200), rear seats could use a seat cover but I never used the back seats.Originally a 3rd row vehicle, so you could put one back in if you likedLights, electronics, power accessories work like new other than power mirrorsRecent maintenance within last 7,000 miles:New fluids in engine, transfer case, front/rear diff, and cooling systemReplaced water pumpGreased all fittingsTransfer case seals were all replaced, chain tension and clutch pack checked and were in good condition.New oil pan, valve cover and intake manifold gasketsNew tires including full size spare, alignment and tires were just rotated to include the spare.New battery The truck is in great running condition. If you’re looking for a show truck, this is not it, but if you want a dependable truck that has towing power and plenty of features, this is it. It does show wear from the mileage in the form of scratches and dings around the truck. Many of the scratches could be buffed out but I do not have the equipment with me to make it happen. As you can see in the pictures, it looks great and you dont notice the blemishes from a distance, but the small scratches dont show up well in pictures. The interior is in good overall condition, but shows wear from the previous owner who had a dog that made a few scratches/tears. There are no lingering smoke or dog odors (I have allergies and have never had an issue with it). The engine does have an oil leak that it has always had, which is the rear cover gasket (which is a known problem with this generation 5.3L engine. Since I have been driving it, it equates to about a half a quart over 5,000 miles. Truck is located in Denver, CO. If you have any questions or would like any more pictures, ask before bidding. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. Remaining payment to be paid within 7 days of auction close and vehicle will not be released until funds clear (check waiting period). On Jun-02-14 at 21:14:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I added a picture of the rear seat which a few asked about, not sure why it didnt upload the first time. The blue stain... may have been a smurf, I'm not sure but overall the seat is in good condition. I rarely used the rear seat so I did not get a cover for it. And I forgot to mention the "crash report" which is showing up on the history report. It happened prior to my ownership, but it was a small impact that took off the passenger rear trim around the wheel well which can be seen in a few pictures. The passenger rear fender flare, and the black trim that goes in front of and behind the rear tire were damaged and thus not on the truck. It didnt bother me, and most of the time I didn't notice it so I did not replace it. KBB in very good condition is $6,130, good condition is $5,900, and fair condition is $5,380... much below the $9,000-$16,000 dealers still want for them! The reserve is well below any of the blue book values, and is not too far from being met.
