Up for sale is a very nice Mercedes 450SL convertible with both hard and soft tops! This car is a true classic that gets a lot of attention on the road. This car runs starts and stops like a dream and I would trust this car to go anywhere. It is currently registered and on the road as it has been it's whole life. This car had been obviously pampered it's entire life and had a light restoration about 6 years ago prior to me owning it. The vehicle received newer paint tie rods, motor rebuild (it runs and drives like a champ). I cannot say enough about how pleasurable it drives. The paint does show a few cracks and blemishes but nothing that would prompt me to repaint as it shows very well. The interior is overall very nice including dash, door panels and carpet etc. but the seats ear very worn. The are comfortable and structurally fine but the leather is in poor shape so we have had seat covers on them which look very nice and seem like they belong on the car. Needless to say- this is a "driver quality" car but a very fine example of one. The car is rust free and very solid. All doors shut solid and tops for perfect with great glass and gaskets all around. The tops are in impeccable shape and very easy to remove and attach. The fabric on the soft top, all the seams and headliner are like new. The hardtop (when attached) gives this convertible that classic coupe-look. This car really has it all. The car is very road-ready and driven nearly every day. It needs nothing except it's new owner. Mechanically the car is great- it starts idles stops as it should and it is as nimble of a driver as you could ever want.
