This vehicle is owned by the City of Mt. Pleasant's (MI) Parks Department. Santa house in background of photo is NOT included. 1996 Ford F150 XLT 2-door standard cab pick up, 138,209 miles. Fair-poor condition (see photos). Newer tires; body has some rust and a few dents; driver door does not open from inside or outside; steering is loose; engine burns oil and runs rough; no tailgate; damage to dashboard; bench seat has seat cover, but seats are worn. Truck is functional, but needs some work to be road-safe due to steering issues. If you are the winning bidder you must bring the means to start (jumper cables, battery charger) and/or transport the vehicle, ex. trailer or towing-equipped truck. With some repairs, it would make a good knock-a-round or farm truck. The truck has not been used since 2013, but it did start with a jump start. Truck is equipped with driver's side airbag, air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, and power door locks. If you have any questions regarding this vehicle, please contact the City of Mt. At the time of pick up, the successful bidder will be required to sign a disclaimer of liability and an acknowledgment of acceptance of the item. Sales Tax: The City of Mt. Pleasant will not add sales tax to the purchase price. Payment of sales tax is the responsibility of the Purchaser. Title Transfer: It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to transfer the title at the nearest Secretary of State office after purchase. The title can be obtained at the time of pick-up. Pick Up: This vehicle is parked behind a locked gate at the Public Works yard. The gate is locked at 4:00 p.m. Therefore, once payment has been received, the Purchaser or his/her authorized representative may pick up the item at the Division of Public Works, 1303 North Franklin Street, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sorry, no weekend pick-ups are allowed. The City may request identification from the person picking up the item. Removal of item(s) is at the risk and expense of the Purchaser. If not using PayPal, the Purchaser may pay for and pick up the item on the same day. If an item is not picked up within seven (7) business days after the auction end date and time, the City of Mt. Pleasant reserves the right to retain the item, to re-list it for auction, and any other action as allowed by eBay rules.
