This vehicle is owned and operated by the City of Mt. Pleasant’s (MI) Police Department. 2010 Ford Crown Victoria, 4-door, 143,430 miles, Black and white exterior/ black interior. Exterior is in fair condition with some scratches, but no rust. Interior in good condition, except it is missing the rear bench seat. Vehicle is equipped with the following options: Automatic transmission; power steering, brakes, locks, and windows; air conditioning, rear defrost, and AM/FM radio. All police radios and identification (light bar, decals, etc.) have been removed. Vehicle was purchase brand new by the City of Mt. Pleasant’s Police Department. This vehicle is being sold in AS IS condition. Vehicle does not start currently (battery will need recharging or possibly replaced). Vehicle has been parked in the Public Works yard since mid-December 2013. Maintenance records indicate the following: 1. Roof scratches and dents are the result of a tree limb falling on top of the car – August 25, 20132. On a regular oil change and tire rotation schedule 3. Quarterly inspections of: · Windshield wipers and all glass · Check all lights and horn operation · Check air conditioner and heater operation · Lube all hinges and door locks · Change oil and filters · Lube chassis · Check exhaust system · Inspect suspension/shocks/springs/CV boots · Inspect all belts · Check air filter/replace if needed · Inspect all hoses and water pump · Check all coolant levels and condition check radiator · Check battery and connections · Check all fluid levels. Front two-wheel alignment and replaced tire due to curb damage – March 22, 2011 13. Replace brake shoes and pads, replace front brake pads and rotors – June 18, 2012 14. Cooling system diagnosis, which included the following: Inspect cooling system; let run for 45 minutes; engine does not overheat; perform cooling fan stress test passes; clean out radiator fins; road test OK; unable to verify overheat condition; no problems found at this time – July 16, 2012. 15. Replace battery – October 5, 2012 16. Replace turn signal switch – November 6, 2012 17. Left turn signal blinks fast; checked turn signals and found poor connection left rear bulb socket; cleaned and retested o.k. – March 7, 2013 18. Pleasant will not add sales tax to the purchase price. Payment of sales tax is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser. Title Transfer: It is the sole responsibility of the Purchaser to transfer the title at the nearest Secretary of State office after purchase. The title can be obtained at the time of pick-up. Pick Up: Vehicle is kept behind a locked gate and the gate closes at 4:00 p.m. Once payment has been received, the Purchaser or his/her authorized representative may pick up the item at the Division of Public Works, 1303 North Franklin Street, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sorry, weekend pick-ups are not allowed. The City may request identification from the person picking up the item. Removal of item(s) is at the risk and expense of the Purchaser. If not using PayPal, the Purchaser may pay for and pick up the item on the same day. If an item is not picked up within seven (7) business days after the auction end date and time, the City of Mt. Pleasant reserves the right to retain the item, to re-list it for auction, and any other action as allowed by eBay rules.
