1964 FORD GALAXIE 2 door hardtop. FACTORY 390 4bbl 4 speed bench seat car. Rear is the original 3.50 open.Motor code is Z, Transmission code is 5, and the rear end code is 5..Paint code is F for Guardsman Blue - Med Blue Metallic. DSO is 45 - DAVENPORT IOWA. Built in Chicago. Car has been off the road for decades. Mileage is 54,129 and believed to be original. In 1977 a state inspection showed the mileage at 52000. Original motor and trans is long gone. Motor is a later 390 4 bl just sitting in the engine compartment, not running or all hooked up. Trans is an old 3 speed. Solid frame and good floors /body.Some lower rear quarter rust on the LH side and rear floors. There is some rust on the weatherstrip channel in the trunk but a mint complete channel from another car is included. .Front seat is from a 64 4 door but includes the original front seat.
