Vehicle Detail
Greetings! For sale is a extremely well preserved 1975 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. This car color is super rare Cerise Firemist with white pin striping that sets it off perfectly! Maroon leather interior. White landau top. 52,479 on the dash. ORIGINAL MILES!!!! I am the second owner of this car. My uncle was the first. It was given to me when he passed on. I have owned the car since last summer and have enjoyed it but it’s time to let it go. Let’s talk body first. Arrow straight and smooth as glass. The paint is about an 8 considering the car is almost 40 years old. All the chrome is there and ORIGINAL!!!!! All Original sheet metal ! Hood ornament has seen better days but it is the ORIGINAL. Door handles, mirrors, tail light housings, its all there. Both bumpers are in great condition. Front bumper has a rubber strip protecting it and even that is in good condition! Landau top is bright white and no rips or tears. All chrome on the Landau top is there as well. Remember the plastic fender extenders that usually rot away? They were replaced and painted! I bet you couldn’t even tell!!! This car is whole! Every emblem, sticker and label is on the car. Tires are a year old, but period correct white walls with original rims and hubcaps. This car isn’t chopped up at all! There are some chips and flakes here and there. Notice I said chips and flakes and NOT scratches! This car hasn’t been bumped or scraped at all. It’s a time capsule on four wheels. Lets talk interior: You could take the back seat out and put it in your living room and throw out your couch! The back seat is that big and comfy. I’m 6’0” and I can lay down in the back seat. The seats are firm and there are no rips or tears. The seats are also power and work flawlessly. The headliner is perfect, the original carpet is in the car as well as the original car mats! The floors are rock solid as well. All the handles, knobs, switches and buttons are where they are supposed to be and everything works! The dash board is in perfect condition with no cracks or chips. Seat belts work, glove box has its own interior light that works! Map lights on the dash board work as well. Work done: I got rid of the 8 track (sorry) and installed a Custom Auto Sound Radio Concourse series 630. It matches the period look but is digital instead of analog. Comes with Ipod/Iphone connection. I also replaced the factory speakers with two 8x9 kickers in the back and two 5x4 kickers in the dash. Everything is tastefully done and out of the way. There was no cutting or custom work to upgrade the stereo system. There is a subwoofer in the trunk with its own amplifier. White wall tires are a year old with less than 200 miles on them. I replaced the battery and the radiator. I didn’t want to invest in fixing the old one. The radiator and all hoses for it were replaced right before winter and the battery was replaced this May. Of course all the fluids were replaced and belts and hoses were checked this May when the battery was replaced. With exception of the radio and the radiator, this car is original. Numbers matching with regards to enigine, transmission, rear axle, carburetor, ect. Basically, major components. Driving: the engine is amazing! 500 cubic inches of refined power. Not a race car though! 190 hp. The car is 19 feet long but once you drive it you’ll know why the Coupe DeVille was the car to get back in the day. The engine has no problem and starts everytime. The brakes are nice and tight and don’t need to be replaced-I believe my uncle may have had them done right before he passed on. I had them checked last year because I was driving the car. I drove the car all last summer and fall. There wasn’t a red lightIi stopped at where I didn’t get at least ONE compliment. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
