1971 Honda CB175. Great condition overall - it has received a lot of tlc over the last year so that I could ride it on a regular basis. New: Michelin tires & tubes (balanced), drive chain, tach cable, turn signal flasher relay, spark plugs & wires, fuel lines, and battery (replaced last fall, kept inside and on a battery tender all winter). Tank was lined by the previous owner - looks to have done a gopd job, no issues. Carbs were disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt using kits from Honda. Tappets adjusted, points adjusted, ignition timing set. Includes a Honda shop manual specific to the 175 so you can keep up on maintenance yourself. Starts easily, idles well and runs & shifts through the gears with no problems. All electronics working properly, no burnt bulbs. Overall a well maintained and good looking bike, but not perfect. The fork ears are bent from a mishap in the garage (headlight is still properly aimed / focused for night riding), there is some pitting around the filler neck from gas spills during 40+ years of fillups, and the mufflers have lost some of the original baffling (not rusted through, the exterior chrome is excellent). Dents and dings here and there, consistent with a bike of this age. Around 14xxx miles, but I recently put a replacement speedometer / odometer on it indicating 8900. Turns heads like nothing else I've owned. Perfect around town, starts easily, warms up quickly and handles easily being so small. It's good for over 70mph, but I found it happiest cruising around town below 50. Great mileage, over 60mpg. Clean & clear Indiana title. Forced to sell due to an upcoming move. Come pick it up and ride to the beach on the way out. Please note - buyer MUST pick the bike up within 5 days of the auctions close (Friday 5/30 at the latest). I'll be out of town the next morning so can't make any exceptions.
