PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION..... Up for sale this beautiful classic car a 1971 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE 351 WINDSOR V8, AUTOMATIC. THIS IS A TRUE CLASSIC AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR... WHAT A GREAT FIND!!!! I have owned in the past several classic cars including mustangs, so I know how hard is to find a nice 43 years old classic mustang in good running condition !!! If you are a classic car lover just like me.. then you know what I'm talking about... I found this pony in Iowa ALL ORIGINAL, engine, trans, rims, hub caps, also the interior is original with out cuts or modifications. It was in storage for 8 years, I'm not a mechanic but I did put a new battery, cleaned up the gas tank and fuel lines and she STARTED RIGHT UP !! I DID DRIVE IT ALL THE WAY HOME TO BELLEVUE NEBRASKA ON THE OPEN HWY AT 70MPH WITH NO PROBLEM... but you still may want to take it to your mechanic to refresh the engine after all these years in storage with a full tun-up to make it run even better !!! but YES at this point she runs end drives good, it's a very nice muscle car!! I haven't changed the title yet but is a CLEAN AND CLEAR Iowa title and he already signed it. ENGINE She has a powerful 351 windsor V8 2 barrel carburator with automatic transmission. BRAKES: She has drum brakes on all wheels. The brake system is factory original just like all the rest and in good working order. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: It's ALL GOOD.. All lights work fine, head lights, turning signal lights, brake lights, also the interior dash light, windshield wipers also working good and of course the controller for the top convertible (up and down) works perfect, (doesn't has AC), all the gauges in the dash work good, temp, oil, fuel, alternator, speedo etc etc... You name it... This is a great find in great condition that you won't see that easy!!! INTERIOR: The interior of course is used with normal wear but as you can see in the pictures is in VERY GOOD CONDITIONS, the carpet is good, seats are nice, door panels are good, the entire dash is good (has a couple cracks on the dash pad see pic), all the bottoms, controllers, handles all is there w/ NO missing parts, all the seat belts are there and working fine. BODY: The body needs some attention, it has on the paint some bubbles and paint chips here and there, also some rust in the typical places: rear quarter panels, some in the floor pans, and a little in the inner fenders (SEE PICS), so yes she needs body work and a new paint job but as you can see in the pics the car looks good and very solid and those rusty areas can be replace with new parts easy in a low cost, since everything is available here on ebay for classic mustangs. The convertible top it's a little too old BUT I ALREADY HAVE A BRAND NEW ONE IN THE BOX, YES INCLUDING THE BACK CLEAR VINYL WINDOW ALSO BRAND NEW... AND I WILL GIVE IT TO THE BUYER FOR FREE, SO YOU ARE SAVING $700 RIGHT THERE !!! THERE ARE NOT MANY 71' MUSTANGS CONVERTIBLES, THEY ARE RARE AND HARD TO FIND AND EVEN MORE A NICE DALY DRIVER, SO HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN ONE DON'T LET IT GO !!! I HAVE IT FOR SALE LOCALLY AT $7K WHICH IS ALREADY A GOOD DEAL !! BUT MY RESERVE PRICE HERE ON EBAY IT'S LESS THAN THAT !! I tried to take many pictures and describe the car according to my knowledge but the Buyer still responsible for inspecting the vehicle before buying. Car is - sold as is - does NOT has any kind of warranty but I know you will like it as much as we do, she is a great classic in great condition!!! I don't see why not... but if for some reason you don't like the car after you see it, well you don't have to buy it, you can turn around and go back home and I will cancel the transaction right there, simple as that.
