The paint is bright red, the engine a sweet running 289, it has power steering, the black interior is nice. VIN: 6F07C344004 MILES: 67,443 showing and my guess is that it has another 100,000. IS THERE any RUST PROBLEMS? I think it looks good, its no new car, but the floors look original and good other than surface rusty color. No bubbles in the paint, the worst thing I see is a crack in the seam that runs from the trunk corner to the corner of the back window, this is very common, its in the seam, I will touch it up with some matching paint (look at my pictures, its no big deal). WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a 67 year old retired mechanic/classic car restorer/auto mechanics instructor, when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: Very shinny presentable paint. It is a metallic red, not the original color, it looks like a new Mustang color, Wild Stawberry. The paint is nice on a good straight body to my eye. No dents and no dings, some very hard to see touched up chips. CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK: The chrome is very presentable, the bumpers llok new, the bumper guards are a little dull, the emblems are nice, the door handles have some pits, the rear quarter chevrons have some pits, the window stainless is very nice for original. INTEROR: The upholstery is very nice, no smells and no real wear, the head liner does have a hole (I will patch it but if you look up you will see it, the seat covers good, the carpet, the steering wheel good, door panels good but wavy, the kick panels good.l GLASS: The sides window roll up and down decent, the windshield is clear. ENGINE: The engine is a good running Ford 289 cubic inch, it starts good, it runs good, it has no rattles, it has no knocks. We did paint the top, it was very faded. Its a good engine! EXHAUST SYSTEM: Good exhaust, but not new. TRANSMISSION:Its a 3 speed automatic that shifts good, its a Ford C4. It is clean just like it was just rebuit, past owner said it had been rebuilt by AAMCO. REAR-END: No whines or growls, its a 8 inch. BRAKES: Good brakes, they are drums all around. STEERING: The car drives good for a early Mustang. WHEELS AND TIRES: The wheels are the originals, the tires good Dayton Daytona, the hubcap nice original Ford spinners. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, brake lights work, interior lights work. SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! Wipers work! Horn is working today! GAUGES: They work, the amp gauges never worked good on the old Mustangs. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? OK for a Mustang. HOW IS THE PANEL FIT? Normal Mustang fit, that's not perfect. CAN I DRIVE THE CAR HOME? The car drives good and everything I have checked is in good condition, but I do not recommend driving any old car home. Reason, I test drive them like a garage doing repair work would, I do not take long trips in them, so it worries me when people head out in a old car. PAINT: Very shinny presentable paint. It is a metallic red, not the original color, it looks like a new Mustang color, Wild Stawberry. The paint is nice on a good straight body to my eye. No dents and no dings, some very hard to see touched up chips.
CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK: The chrome is very presentable, the bumpers llok new, the bumper guards are a little dull, the emblems are nice,
the door handles have some pits, the rear quarter chevrons have some pits, the window stainless is very nice for original.
INTEROR: The upholstery is very nice, no smells and no real wear, the head liner does have a hole (I will patch it but if you look up you will see it, the seat covers good, the carpet, the steering wheel good,
door panels good but wavy, the kick panels good.l
GLASS: The sides window roll up and down decent, the windshield is clear.
ENGINE: The engine is a good running Ford 289 cubic inch, it starts good, it runs good, it has no rattles, it has
no knocks. We did paint the top, it was very faded. Its a good engine!
EXHAUST SYSTEM: Good exhaust, but not new.
TRANSMISSION:Its a 3 speed automatic that shifts good, its a Ford C4. It is clean just like it was just rebuit, past owner said it had been rebuilt by AAMCO.
REAR-END: No whines or growls, its a 8 inch.
BRAKES: Good brakes, they are drums all around.
STEERING: The car drives good for a early Mustang.
WHEELS AND TIRES: The wheels are the originals, the tires good Dayton Daytona, the hubcap nice original Ford spinners.
LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, brake lights work, interior lights work.
SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! Wipers work! Horn is working today!
GAUGES:
They work, the amp gauges never worked good on the old Mustangs.
HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE?
OK for a Mustang.
HOW IS THE PANEL FIT? Normal Mustang fit, that's not perfect.
CAN I DRIVE THE CAR HOME? The car drives good and everything I have checked is in good condition, but I do
not recommend driving any old car home. Reason, I test drive them like a garage doing repair work would, I do not
take long trips in them, so it worries me when people head out in a old car.
