The Toy Barn of Dublin Presents: 1984 Ford Mustang GT Convertible 23k original miles, beautiful condition The Toy Barn is proud to offer this ultra-rare and genuine Mustang GT convertible with only 23k original miles. This example was traded in here at our dealership by a local collector, and if you've wanted a Mustang that's original and collectible, this is certainly a great opportunity. The car drives strong, looks great, pulls hard and drives tight. Check out the pictures below and see for yourself; this is quite a car. Condition-wise, this car is very nice from front to back, with what appears to be a well kept and preserved original finish. There is no stand out damage or imperfections, only wear that can be found as expected from a vintage, original collectible (check out the photos below). This car, top to bottom, is a rust-free machine, and it is VERY solid, as you can see from the pictures below. The finish, though 30 years old, still looks great and very well preserved. The stickers and decals are all intact and look nice as well. The TRX metric wheels are in excellent condition and free of any damage (though the tires are aged). The interior is excellent, and certainly show worthy as well. The original velour seats look fantastic, as do the door panels, dash, and carpet. The guages seem to function as they should, as does the blower motor for the fan control/defrost, the a/c works but blew cool as opposed to cold. The original radio sounds great, perfect to tune in to your favorite classic rock station and re-live the top-down glory days. Underneath, the car is VERY solid, rust-free, and looks like it still has it's original exhaust system which is still in good condition. Again, a very solid, very nice, original GT. You'll be hard-pressed to find another one like it. This GT will be sold with all of the original items pictured below, including the owner's manual and various documents and booklets that accopanied the car when it was new. Also, There is a few random receipts, and some various hand-written notes, as well as an original brochure for the Mustang from 1984. Aslo 4 floor mats will be included, as well as the top boot (as pictured) also in excellent condition. Drivability-wise, this car is VERY tight and runs very well. The clutch grabs well, there are no noises or smoke issues, the brakes feel good, and overall I really enjoyed driving it. It actually felt STRONGER than I thought it would. The high-output 5.0 V8 motor sounds great and performs as it should, and overall this car is a fantastic vehicle for the collection, the street, and the car shows. ***Please note: This Mustang is 30 years old, and is an ultra-low mile car in excellent condition, but it's NOT perfect, it's vintage, and accepts some of the flaws and imperfections we can assume with a car such as this.
