This car spent it's life in the dry deserts of Texas and Oklahoma until it was purchased by a collector where is was properly stored indoors and covered. Rust free desert car with solid floors, doors, hinges, etc. All body lines are straight. Doors, trunk, and hood line up correctly and close solidly. This is one of the most solid cars I have seen and does not appear or handle like a 50 year old car. It is a dream to drive and always receives compliments. Power steering works excellent with no leaks. Brakes work solidly and car stops straight. Tires have no cracks or leaks. All glass is clear and crack free. Every option works. Driveline: Numbers Matching 318 Cubic Inch Hi-Po Engine and Automatic 3-Speed Transmission. Push button transmission selector on dash works perfectly…very cool and this was the last year it was offered. The original 318 Hi-Performance Factory 4BBL Polysphere factory engine starts easy, runs strong, and does not make any abnormal sounds or smoke. It actually idles smooth and accelerates strong…this car is a dream to drive. The automatic transmission shifts into and out of gears easily and shifts between gears solidly. Exhaust system is quiet and solid. Engine bay is clean as pictures show. Interior: Dash is clean, soft, and has no cracks. Door panels are nice with no cracks or tears as pictures show. Upholstery is original and is driver quality. New upholstery would increase the beauty of the car but existing upholstery does not distract from overall appeal. Floor Pans are clean and solid as picture shows. Dash is 100% functional and original. The trunk is solid as shown in pictures and very clean with correct size spare, original jack, original wood insert, and new floor mat. Exterior: The paint is newer within the last few years and shows beautifully. Original color was copper but this car looks much better in burgundy and color change was done professionally (i.e. door jams, hinges, trim removed, strike plates masked, etc.) with no overspray.
