Vehicle Detail

This car rolled off Ford's Dearborn assembly line on December, 29th 1966 as one of the early 1967 models with the new 390 big block option (first year for big block mustangs known as the S code. The 390 4V engine was rated by ford at 320 HP and a massive 427 ft-lbs of torque. This car has a straight rust-free body that has had rotisserie restoration treatment. It is my dream to restore a 67 fastback, and this is the perfect restoration project car. However, with a new baby, my priorities have to change and I must let this car go. It is ready for the next owner to build the car up right. You can see in the pictures that the body is in primer and already in great shape. The car comes with all the parts pictured including a 390 engine (non-numbers matching). A mechanic I trust knew this car before I purchased it and told me that the engine had been recently rebuilt before being pulled out of a Fairlane GT (I have no documentation to confirm the recent rebuild and I have never fired the engine). The car also comes with a 750 Holley Carburetor, C6 transmission, 9ā€ rear end, non restored hood and trunk, steering column, louvers, gas tank, and a few trim pieces. I also have some of the glass for the car but suspect the new owner will want new glass for restoration. While I do not have interior for the car, you would end up replacing the interior of any restoration project to bring it back to showroom condition. Car also comes with Marti Report and Ford Shop Manual. The car has a clean title in my name ready to be transferred. Hope the car goes to a good home that will bring it back to life and enjoy this iconic car. Buyer is responsible for pick up and transportation. Car is located in Elkhart County, Indiana. Email Fastback1967S@yahoo.com with any questions. On May-19-14 at 19:46:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone looked at the car today and had concerns about the VIN number stamped under the fender. I attached pictures below and you can see that the "S" looks like it was stamped differently than the rest of the VIN. The VIN plate has an "S", I have the Marti Report (officially licensed by Ford for the unique VIN number information which indicates this unique VIN number to be a ā€œSā€ 390 engine), and my valid Indiana title matches the VIN plate. I just want to provide full disclosure for potential buyers. Someone just informed me my car is on Craigslist. Stay away from the Craigslist post - I did not post this car on Craigslist - it is a scam. I am selling the car through Ebay.
