Up for auction is a 95% completely restored 1971 Honda CB 750 K1. I say 95% restored because I have not had the gauges sent out for cosmetic restoration. They are however mechanically and electrically fully functioning. Also, I missed re-chroming a few bits and there is a small imperfection in the paint on the right side of the tank and on the left side of the battery cover. I am a professional restorer of award winning Concours vehicles, having won awards at Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, Cavallino and more. I have restored this motorcycle to my personal and professional standards. Photos have been provided to demonstrate the quality of work. I started with a low mileage of 7,341 original miles. Undamaged, this motorcycle has VIN 1057221 with engine in close range #1056666. This motorcycle was disassembled, frame and all parts inspected and all black parts professionally coated. All original hardware was re-plated and reused in the build. All finishes and polishing can be seen in these photos. Motor and drive train were completely overhauled, rebuilt and resealed. All wear items were replaced with OEM parts including tires and tubes. The fuel system, hydraulics and electrical were overhauled and restored. Finally, the bike was assembled using factory manuals and torque specs. The entire build has been documented with photographs. The bike starts, runs and rides beautifully. I can provide GoPro footage taken of the bike in action upon request. It was hard to limit to only these photos as this bike turned out better than you can imagine. In fact, selling this bike is bitter sweet, but engagement rings are expensive. Clean California title, no tool kit but lots of extra parts including a second seat and a full set of manuals, parts book and owner paraphernalia.
