Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a very clean, very straight 1969 Ford F250 Custom Cab Camper Special Pickup. Clean title in hand. It has a 390,C-6 Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes. UPGRADES: Engine - 5000 miles on a professional rebuild. Edelbrock 600CFM 4 barrel carb, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Petronix electronic ignition & coil, Summit 8mm spark plug wires, RV cam shaft with double roller timing chain, 2 1/4 inch dual exhaust with X-pipe, cherry bomb glasspacks. Problem area: valve train noise that may be lifter from sitting; compression test 145 - 150 all cylinders. Body - Flat gray urethane paint with trim that has been blacked out. All emblems have been shaved & holes filled with metal welded plugs. Floorboards, cab, & cab corners are solid (see photos). 2 quarter-sized rust holes in lower outer door skins have been cut out & metal welded in place. Small rust area above driver's side cab (see photo). Hood & fenders solid/no rust. Bed straight/no rust. Bed & tie downs in bed floor have been coated. Tailgait is straight/rust free (see photo). Saddle gas tank has been removed & filler for it has been replaced with metal. Gas tank behind seat remains intact. Interior - Sound deadening roof to floor & inside doors. Dash has not been butchered. Dash pad deleted. No radio. 4 speakers (2 in doors, 2 in stock location). Original seatbelts. New floor mat. Seat cover replaced with LMC kit; small hole & piping unstitched on driver's side (see photo); seat springs & padding are good. All weather stripping including vent windows has been replaced. All windows roll up & down smoothly. Doors close with a solid thud. Moon Eyes California steering wheel. Problem areas: Turn signals have to be operated manually due to custom steering wheel, horn operated by button on column, gas gauge sticks. Wheels & Tires - Special order from Wheel Vintiques 16 x 8 chrome reverse with moons, 8 lug. Tires are 245/75/R16 with 5000 miles on them. I switched it to 16" from manufacturer's original 16.5" size. Makes tire buying easy. Frame & Suspension - Frame is straight. Suspension is worn but in good shape. Drives & tracks straight. Will need shocks soon. Engine, transmission, & differential have recently been service -- no leaks. Brakes are drum all around, recently replaced & drums turned; works well. I have had this truck for 3 years & only drive it occasionally. Runs & drives great. I am selling it to fund another project. I am NOT selling it as a professional restoration. It is a good, solid truck that gets a lot of thumbs up when I drive it around town. It is something that you would be proud to be seen driving. The truck is in Oregon. It is being listed locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early if needed. Highest bidder will make a $ 500.00 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours after the auction closes. Remainding payment by bank/wire transfer or cash due within 14 days of receipt of deposit. Shipping arrangements are buyer's responsibililty. Local pick up & shipping are buyer's responsibility -- please contact me & I will help if I can. Please do NOT bid if you have had a lot of negative feedback or if you are not a serious buyer. Thanks for looking & good luck bidding! On May-13-14 at 11:46:13 PDT, seller added the following information: (This is an adult driven truck. No smokey burnouts or dough nuts in parking lots. This truck has been well looked after and just needs to be driven. I have too many projects and this one needs to go to fund another.) *Please contact me with any questions or about shipping USA or overseas, Or if more photos are needed* On May-14-14 at 20:21:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions about the truck: 1. The truck is a long wheel base. 2. No A/C *** 3. The truck is SOLD AS IS. Please contact me with any questions and I will respond ASAP. Thanks.
