Vehicle Detail

This is a nice Cyclone GT I've had going on a couple years now. I have really enjoyed driving and owning this car, my family and I have used it a lot for weekend rides and some summer daily commuting. I recently finished another car and have reluctantly decided to part ways with the Cyclone. I say reluctantly because it's a really neat car that you just don't see very often. I purchased the car from a gentleman that had it for 38 years, In that time it never saw a Wisconsin winter and it shows, ALL the sheet metal is virgin un-rusted, un-patched metal and very straight as well. The underside of the car including the floor is very much the same. The hood scoop looks great on the car but is not original to it and the hood does have a hole cut beneath it. The glass is all excellent, chrome is all original, the bumpers show a little age but not much and the rest of the chrome/stainless, emblems, etc is straight and excellent, the interior is original minus the front carpet. It is all in super condition, dash included (no cracks) The paint on the car is very nice, not show but nice driver quality, there's a chip in the driver's door and some minor age but overall it shows very nicely. The vinyl top i'm not sure on. It was an available option on the GT and the grain of the material suggests it's from the era but I'm not able to say with 100% certainty that it came with the car. It does have a small amount of damage towards the center but looks great on the car none the less. Tires are in excellent condition. The car runs, drives and stops very well, the 390 engine has outstanding performance and does not smoke or make noise. I don't know if this is the original engine or not but it was ordered with the 390. The car was ordered with a 2 barrel carburetor but currently has a 4. It is an original 4 speed car which currently has a Hurst shifter but also comes with the original shifter and linkage. It is a 4 wheel drum non power brake and non power steering car. It does have an oil leak which I understand to be from the rear main and I do occasionally have to add some brake fluid which I'm assuming is form a slight leak in one of the wheel cylinders. The radio is the original AM unit and does not work. I'm not sure if it is hooked up or not. The car has always been a summer car and as a result the heater hoses were removed and blocked off at some point in it's life. All in all it's a really unusual low mile car that you don't see too often. It is generally difficult to come by a car like this with such great sheet metal and nice original interior especially in a four speed. Of the many fascinating cars I've owned over the years this one has always been one of the bigger attention getters and rightly so. Car comes with the original order sheet, owners card and brochure.
