We were originally assuming it was to the front of the vehicle, but after re-reading the report, we think we may have found where the damage was/is. In the pictures, you can see that there is a scrape / crease in the body on the driver's side rear fender arch. Something rubbed up against the car at some point (whether another car, branch, object, etc). It wasn't enough force to scrape the actual paint off or puncture the metal.
