I purchased this SV November of 2012. The first ride I hit a puddle of antifreeze at 10 miles per hour and went down low side (right side). Very minor damage however with the expense of brand new plastic this bike was totaled. I purchased plastic on E Bay. I have a friend who is a professional painter and painted each piece of plastic on this motorcycle. This bike is by far better than new. I have taken the time to repair this SV so that it captures attention. The photo's will speak for themselves. I sanded and polished the damaged right muffler you have to look real close to see the damage. Since the bike has been repaired we have put approximately 3000 miles on it with out any issues. I replaced the tires with Dunlap Sportmax QR they have 80% left. I took photos of the damage after the low side, note how minimal the damage was cosmetic only. This SV does have a salvage title and the price reflects this. Did I mention how incredible this bike sounds with the V twin motor and the shorty mufflers. AMAZING!!!!! Please note! The last photo's are the prior damage that has been fixed. I think it is important to show the minor damage that the insurance company felt was a "total loss".
