I rescued this 1968 Austin Healey Sprite from a garage in Maryland after being in storage for 7 years. In 7 years, PO only put 4000mi on it. This car is in unbelievable condition and has a fantastic body having no rust underneath as seen in the photos. The floor on both sides are really nice especially the passenger side, see photos. The rest of the body has no rust showing only a few small paint bubbles on the front of the one rocker and behind the rear tire. Paint is really good with some touch up but shines well and looks good overall. Trunk is amazing! Wheels are clean, and tires are excellent. All shut lines good, no body rattles, noises etc. Engine compartment is extremely clean with no modifications. I haven't had time to detail/clean the engine comp prior to posted pictures and it still looks good. Engine starts first time, idles well, holds really good oil pressure and runs cool even after long running. Drive is tight. All gauges work, lights, horn, etc. Interior is excellent with both seats having little wear, kick panels, door panels very good as seen. Dash is excellent with only a small repair on facia, Mota Lita steering wheel and all glass excellent. Has spare and extra wheel. Mechanically the car is great except it could use a tune up, needs top ( never up by PO ) and 3rd gear doesn't work at all. Shifting is normal, but when you get to 3rd, nothing happens, no noise, grind, nothing but neutral. I shifted through from 2nd to 4th and down shifted same with no problems. My reserve reflects what the car needs and I do have a clear PA title on the way from Harrisburg any day.
