I bought this SLS in Florida in 2008 with 93,500 miles on it. Shortly after buying it, it was diagnosed with a head gasket problem that lets exhaust gasses get into the coolant and allows a very small amount of coolant to escape. I installed a bypass that purges the exhaust gasses and eliminates air pockets in the cooling system and have used it since 2008 for short drives of under an hour and I check the coolant level regularly. In six years, I've put about 14,000 miles on it, mostly during the summer. I's been driven very little in the winter when salt is on the roads. The cadillac monitoring system has recently started reporting multiple issues. It's reporting problems with the antilock brakes, traction control, suspension stability system and brake pads. The brake pads are brand new, so I know for sure that that particular problem is a monitor issue and not a brake system issue. The body paint and interior are in excellent shape. Even the carpets still look nearly new. The paint is a pearl white. Most of the paint is perfect, with a few imperfections on the bumpers. The pictures show a section on the front bumper where the pearl top coat was buffed off the white base coat and the corners of the rear bumper have some nicks and scratches. there are also a couple imperfections on the front edge of the hood. The tires are Michelin Pilot tires with good tread (See picture). The front tires have a little more tread than the rear tires. The alloy wheels have some flaws (see the pictures). If someone is willing to fix the head gasket probem this would be an awesome car. It's a fun car to drive, gets great gas milage and I get compliments whenever people ride with me in this car. I've gotten my use out of it and I'm ready to let it go. It's a no reserve auction, so it goes to the highest bidder.
