Offered for auction, at low reserve, is a 1923 Ford Model T Roadster Pickup street rod. The vehicle was built in the early 1980's. It has a heavy duty fiberglass body mounted to a custom tube frame with rear coil over suspension and a traditional front straight axle. It is powered by a Chevrolet 350 V-8 with dual four barrel carburetors on a tunnel ram manifold. Power is transferred to the 1957 Chevrolet rear end via a GM 350 turbo transmission. This car is reliable and fast! It is nimble and not for the faint of heart. This would not make a good first car for a new driver!. It is in very good condition with no known mechanical defects. The paint is very nice as is the interior. The car needs nothing! Put your license plates on it and hit the open road. The vehicle is located in Lockport Illinois, which is about 30 miles southwest of Chicago. Interested individuals are encouraged and welcome to view the vehicle in person. Local pickup is preferred but we will assist the buyers transporter in loading the vehicle. All shipping and transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
