We are a father son operation working out of my garage here at home, but we have dealers license. This way we pay no sales tax, you pay sales tax in your state. MILES: 21,974 reading today and I'm sure you can add another 100,000. HISTORY: All I know is that we went to a big car show in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee a couple of weeks ago. Guys from all over the south are at the big show. A guy from Florida was there to sell his Mustang and we bought it. The title does state previous state of registration was California and the trim tag states that the car was sold in the Los Angeles district. WARNING: I am selling a nice used car, it is not a perfect new show car that cost $100,000 to restore. I judge it to my standards, please come look at it, drive it all you want to and "be happy". Classic Cars are sold as is with no warranty! IS THIS A REAL SHELBY? No, it is done in the Shelby style. It has had the stripes added, hood scoop added, side vents added, GT styple exhaust added. All this was done buy previous owners because it looks good and they liked it. IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? No, the car was born with a 289 cubic inch engine, it now has a 302 engine. They look the same and fit the same so it a easy swap, some people consider it a up grade. HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT? The title by law is required to state it if it has been in a bad accident and it does not state it. I see no bad bends in the frame extentions or no bad wrinkles in the sheet metal. IS THERE AND RUST? I see no rust bubbles in the paint, no big holes in the floors. The bottom looks like a old 50 year old car, it has surface rust, but no problems like a lot of old Mustangs have. The torque boxes have had thicker plates welded on the bottoms, not a bad thing, (see pictures). DOES THE CAR HAVE AND BODY FILER? Get real, have you ever seen one that does not have any. No cracks and bubbles like when guys put too much on. The bottoms of the rockers and rear drop down look good. I'm sure it has some filler, I have not run a magnet over the car because it looks good. ENGINE: It runs good, its a 302 V8, that has no knocks and no bad blue smoke. TRANSMISSION: Its a 3 speed automatic that works good to me, Ford calls it a C4. STEERING: I think it drives good for a Mustang of the day. BRAKES: Drum brakes all around that stop like drums stopped in the day. PAINT: Good driver quality paint. By driver quality I mean you do not see flaws unless you look for them. The car has had a few chips that are touched up. The hood and top of the front fenders are a very slight difference in shade. You have to look for it, the hood must have been painted in past days. The paint is good, its just not that perfect $20,000 paint job. INTERIOR: Good, but not new. Pictures make it look a little better that it is. I love the Pony 2 tone interior. No real wear, no holes, you can just tell its no perfect new if you were here to inspect. TOP: The convertible top is very nice and power operated. CHROME: Bumpers good, some other parts have pitts. The pitted parts are the gas cap, tail light bezel, door handles and top trim corner. They all bolt on so you can replace them if they are not to you standards. GLASS: All the glass is nice and the window roll up and down OK. EXHAUST: Nice sounding Flow Master mufflers, they system is good used condition. The system is GT style and exits through the rear valance. The tips are pitted. RADIO: No radio, the dash is not cut. I will put one in at cost with no labor. I don't put them in because guys have different ideas on sound. PANEL FIT: Decent for a early Mustang, they were not show perfect. I took lot of pictures for you to look at. The doors open and close good, the drives door has one of the reinforsement plates added, they cracked and this was a decent fix. WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? TITLE: Clear title in Florida in hand, it will be transfered as a dealer. We are a father son operation working out of my garage here at home, but we have dealers license. This way we pay no sales tax, you pay sales tax in your state.
MILES: 21,974 reading today and I'm sure you can add another 100,000.
HISTORY: All I know is that we went to a big car show in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee a couple of weeks ago. Guys from all over the south are at the big show. A guy from Florida was there to sell his Mustang and we bought it. The title does state previous state of registration was California and the trim tag states that the car was sold in the Los Angeles district.
WARNING: I am selling a nice used car, it is not a perfect new show car that cost $100,000 to restore. I judge it to my standards, please come look at it, drive it all you want to and "be happy". Classic Cars are sold as is with no warranty!
IS THIS A REAL SHELBY? No, it is done in the Shelby style. It has had the stripes added, hood scoop added, side vents added, GT styple exhaust added. All this was done buy previous owners because it looks good and they liked it.
IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? No, the car was born with a 289 cubic inch engine, it now has a 302 engine. They look the same and fit the same so it a easy swap, some people consider it a up grade.
HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT? The title by law is required to state it if it has been in a bad accident and it does not state it. I see no bad bends in the frame extentions or no bad wrinkles in the sheet metal.
IS THERE AND RUST? I see no rust bubbles in the paint, no big holes in the floors. The bottom looks like a old 50 year old car, it has surface rust, but no problems like a lot of old Mustangs have. The torque boxes have had thicker plates welded on the bottoms, not a bad thing, (see pictures).
DOES THE CAR HAVE AND BODY FILER? Get real, have you ever seen one that does not have any. No cracks and bubbles like when guys put too much on. The bottoms of the rockers and rear drop down look good. I'm sure it has some filler, I have not run a magnet over the car because it looks good.
ENGINE: It runs good, its a 302 V8, that has no knocks and no bad blue smoke.
TRANSMISSION: Its a 3 speed automatic that works good to me, Ford calls it a C4.
STEERING: I think it drives good for a Mustang of the day.
BRAKES: Drum brakes all around that stop like drums stopped in the day.
PAINT: Good driver quality paint. By driver quality I mean you do not see flaws unless you look for them. The car has had a few chips that are touched up. The hood and top of the front fenders are a very slight difference in shade. You have to look for it, the hood must have been painted in past days. The paint is good, its just not that perfect $20,000 paint job.
INTERIOR: Good, but not new. Pictures make it look a little better that it is. I love the Pony 2 tone interior. No real wear, no holes, you can just tell its no perfect new if you were here to inspect.
TOP: The convertible top is very nice and power operated.
CHROME: Bumpers good, some other parts have pitts. The pitted parts are the gas cap, tail light bezel, door handles and top trim corner. They all bolt on so you can replace them if they are not to you standards.
GLASS: All the glass is nice and the window roll up and down OK.
EXHAUST: Nice sounding Flow Master mufflers, they system is good used condition. The system is GT style and exits through the rear valance. The tips are pitted.
RADIO: No radio, the dash is not cut. I will put one in at cost with no labor. I don't put them in because guys have different ideas on sound.
PANEL FIT: Decent for a early Mustang, they were not show perfect. I took lot of pictures for you to look at. The doors open and close good, the drives door has one of the reinforsement plates added, they cracked and this was a decent fix.
